[B]The difference for me is, before when I was a Christian, I was told that my basic nature was evil and sinful.

This was a correct teaching. I am afraid that thier were other things possibly going on that gave you a very bad tast in your mouth regarding christianity? Possibly certain people living in hypocrisy? Possibly situations you would rather not discuss...either way...I hate to see it end this way.

Yeah...its never the concept itself...its always some bad apple 😉

Philisophical question: How many bad apples does it take to have a bad harvest?

ONE:

How many wrongs make a right if there is no such thing as right?

ok...so then whoever screwed up Shakyas Chrstianity exposed the whole religon as false.

The anser to your question is that no amount of wrongs make a right. Ever.

So your belief that truth doesn't exist simply means everyones life will consist of useless searching and searching to always finish with an un-truth. Truth is not to be found according to what your posts have shown me therefore the search for truth it is futile. To me a very sad outlook and state of affairs...

Wrong...truth is unlikely to be found, but tis is possible. Ironically...this view has ties to the buddhist view of enlightenment...one of the reasons behind why you need so many reincarnations...it takes a LONG time.

Its herdly a sad state of affairs. I'd rather die "sad" searching for real thruth than to live "happy" with a lie.

However, we search for what we already have. We are enlightened: we know the truth.

Yes...a difference between buddhism and my beliefs. I'm not buddhist.

Buddhism is self-realization...Alliancism is global discovery.

I believe man is inherently stupid 🙂

That is not what I'm saying. We are not stupid; we are asleep.

I know what you said...the ideals of buddhism.

I'm saying my idea is similar (log time to enlightenment) but different. Buddhist seek self realization of what they already are. I seek knowledge to help me become something greater.

Is this because you believe in the rapture and only the non believers are left?

No, we actually believe the earth alters in some way and the best place to be is here. Don't know where the other places are.

Revelations is a difficult book to try to interpret. I figure we live our best and to hell with it. We don't believe in the rapture in the way mainstream Christianity seems to.

I am not sure if that came out right... all the same, it still looks decent enough

I just thought is was funny.
