will someone post a few love poems here to get because i am not talented enough to write a true love poem thank you. p.s. this is my attempt at a love poem

love is something the blind can see
love is something the deaf can hear

Well it's a good start, now just continue on with it 😊

damn you know, just this morning i gave the library back the love poem book i had been reading!

If it was about talent the forum would be empty.

That was a good idea. As Coldfire said, you could go on with it, although I guess as it stands it would qualify as an imagist poem.

I am blind but can see the darkness in my own heart you see.
Once a flower now a beast
A wingless angel fallen asleep
I deny my heart as my wings are dipped and burned into the firey sea
I don't have this thing called love for I am wingless like the dove....

the heart, beating with love,
feels a tender warmth,
like sitting 'neath the hearth,
bye the glowing embers,
of passionate fire,
