Human Extinction

I listened to this and found it freaky, do you guys see it as a possibility?

For your sake, I hope it’ll all be all peaches & cream, but I’m afraid the end time is near. The cataclysmic apocalypse referred to in the scriptures of every holy book known to mankind.

It will be an era fraught with boundless greed & corruption, where global monitory systems disintegrate, leaving brother to kill brother for a grain of overcooked rice.

The nations of the civilized world will collapse under the oppressive weight of parasitic political conspiracies which remove all hope & optimism from their once faithful citizens.

Around the globe, generations of polluters will be punished for their sins. Unshielded by the ozone they have successfully depleted, left to bake in the searing naked rays of light.

Wholesale assassinations served to destabilize every remaining government, leaving the starving & wicked to fend for themselves.

Bloodthirsty renegade cyborgs created by tax dodging corporations wreak havoc.

Pissed off androids tired of being slaves to a godless & gutless system, where the rich get richer & the poor get fcucked over and out, unleash total world wide destruction by means of nuclear holocaust, annihilating the terrified masses, leaving in its torturous wake nothing but vicious, cannibalistic, mutated, radiated, and horribly disfigured hordes of satanic killers bent on revenge. But against whom? There are so few left alive.

Starvation reigns supreme.

Forcing unlucky survivors to eat anything & anyone in their path.

Massive earthquakes crack the planets crust like a hollow eggshell causing unending volcanic eruptions.

Creatures of the seven seas, unable to escape the certain death upon land, boil in their liquid prison.

Disease then circles the earth. Plagues & viruses with no known cause or cure laying waste to whatever draws breathe.

And humankind having proven itself to be nothing more than a race of ruthless scavengers, fall victim to merciless attacks at the hands of interplanetary alien tribes who seek to conquer our charred remains.

Crazy, huh? What do you think...

kinda sounds like Korea mixed with california... Korea+California=Korifornea

I stopped reading at: Bloodthirsty renegade cyborgs created by tax dodging corporations wreak havoc.

Chicken Little say: "The Sky is Falling, The Sky is Falling".

Seriously, there are major issues humanity will face in this century, but it won't be the end of the world.

You made it farther then me.

My take on these predictions.....

It will be an era fraught with boundless greed & corruption, where global monitory systems disintegrate, leaving brother to kill brother for a grain of overcooked rice. - Not like humanity hasn't always had boundless greed and corruption, and collapsing monetary systems? Happened before, humanity persists.

The nations of the civilized world will collapse under the oppressive weight of parasitic political conspiracies which remove all hope & optimism from their once faithful citizens. - Don't think it'll happen, but once again civilised nations have collapsed before. And are any citizens truly faithful?

Around the globe, generations of polluters will be punished for their sins. Unshielded by the ozone they have successfully depleted, left to bake in the searing naked rays of light. - Maybe, one day in the future, though not now. And peoples are startinng to see the error of their ways.

Wholesale assassinations served to destabilize every remaining government, leaving the starving & wicked to fend for themselves.
- Assassinations are nothing new, plenty of people have died in history by such means.

Bloodthirsty renegade cyborgs created by tax dodging corporations wreak havoc. - What? Why? Wha.....

- .......................

Starvation reigns supreme. - The are plenty of places on the earth were millions are in this situation.

Forcing unlucky survivors to eat anything & anyone in their path. - Darwinism really. And humanity has survived famine plenty of times before.

Massive earthquakes crack the planets crust like a hollow eggshell causing unending volcanic eruptions. - I don't think it works quite like that...

Creatures of the seven seas, unable to escape the certain death upon land, boil in their liquid prison. - ...........

Disease then circles the earth. Plagues & viruses with no known cause or cure laying waste to whatever draws breathe. - Every disease has a cause. Everyone a cure. Given enough time both can always be discovered. Once again though, plague has ravaged it's heart out before - humanity remains. It's a cycle.

And humankind having proven itself to be nothing more than a race of ruthless scavengers, fall victim to merciless attacks at the hands of interplanetary alien tribes who seek to conquer our charred remains. - Well, I am a big advocate of if there's a better race out there, and we go to war, they should win. None of this Sci-Fi romanticism where humanities "love" and "hope" some how overcome races thousands or millions of years more advanced.

Personally I think one day humanity will either a. No longer exist or b. will be vastly different from today. And that's the way it should be. I accept that it is impossible for humanity to survive and stay the same. Change or extinction. Humanity aren't that special, they wont be able to side step the future of the species forever, regardless of what it is. But the point is that is a long way off. Unless a meteor hits earth or something, humanity is not going anywhere in the near, or even far future. Beyond that, well, who can say. I like to think humanity will end itself one day and cockroaches will take over. Or whales. Why? Because the human species can be a right bastard. I don't believe it deserves to live forever unless it shapes up.

The end of humankind doesn't mean the end of the world. Anyway, what's the big deal, everything has a life time, who knows if, when, how, why, etc. humans will dissapear, and we should not need to care about it. What matters is how we live, not how, if, why, when we die.

Thats the funny thing though, before humans no species on Earth has had the potential to stop or pros pone it's "extinction". We do therefore have a much better survival rate than any other species imo.

what the hell.

Bloodthirsty renegade cyborgs created by tax dodging corporations wreak havoc.

I'd have a better time with this one if it had some logic to it. How do cyborgs and tax dodging fit together? Are the cyborgs there to kill auditors from the tax office? Are they there as tax write offs? Did some CEO go - hey, we need to make some uncontrollable cyborgs in order to get tax perks...?

I mean what is it?

If the human race does become extinct IMO it will be because of what we humans do wars, pollution etc. Not to do with renegade cyborgs or what ever it was.

KMC will survive...I ain't worried.

Well, try using a higher focus.

Ask yourself why would Corporations build such machines in the 1st place?

Ever seen the "Robocop" movies? Do you think thats the concept in those movies aren't a possibility? And that was just OCP Corp. What if there was a massive market trend with corporations in the buying of robots where CEO's and upper level management did buy machines for security, then the rich would catch on and the prices would drop and now almost every one has one. This process would take place on a massive scale over a time period and not a long one , a decade perhaps. Ever heard of A.I? Ever seen "I.Robot"? Another movie that has real-like concepts. The "Matrix" may be pushing it but I don't rule it out.

It's not like Corporations will buy the machines screwed up. Maybe some mad man may modify some and mass produce secretly cause he's pissed at the world or doesn't want his company to go down so he mods these things in order to annihilate the other corporation/s, I dont know?

Open your mind. Use a higher focus..There's more out there than just KMC people..

The age old idea of machines turning against their makers and either destroying us or attempting to enslave us is an idea that has boundless possibilities. Not realistic ones, but ones to be interpreted. IE: There are so many movies, games, books etc that deal with the idea. Some of them are great, some of them suck. As will always be the way.

If a machine revolution were to ever happen (which it won't), it wouldn't be anything like the above or anything mentioned in this thread. It wouldn't even be an independently intelligent movement. Machines aren't gathered around plotting. The closest you will ever get to machines "taking over" is when humanity just becomes way too dependent on the ones that exist. They won't have taken over but certain aspects of human lives will depend on them.

It comes back to the idea of humans being used to keep machines relevant. EG: Online shopping. Conspiracy theorists claim that it's the machine plan of keeping everyone "attached" to them so that they are kept relevant. A dumbing down of willpower.

Then again conspiracy theorists are often morons with way more time on their hands than humanly possible. All of these theories are, besides near impossible, based around "if", "maybe" and "could".

If you did repeat it back, if your mind was open, i'd accept it as valid.

But since it isn't, I have to take anything you say invalid, but to each his own. Stick to your dogmatic narrow views then. Have at it.
