COME ON! Somebody please help me - why can't i receive email notifications of new posts from this site?

I haven't posted much on this site yet - as i've got to try and remember what threads i've posted in - and with a memory like mine i've limited that to two threads 😄

I've got a seperate junk folder and the emails arn't gong there - i've got 'use email notification by default' selected as yes, and the two threads i've posted in are highlighted as subscribed to in my User CP!

Come on, somebody out there must be clever enough to work this one out 😎

Is it because i'm British or something 😉 😮‍💨

Xoni, if you've confirmed that your email address is correct and you're subscribing to threads, then you should be presented with the option to 'receive email notification' each time you subscribe.

Just a suggestion, but why don't you try un-subscribing from the threads you currently watch and then resubscribing again to see if you are offered the option to receive email notification? It might not work but it's worth a try 😉

This is just a test post - i've deleted my subscription to this thread, and now i'm posting to see if i'll be given the option to subsribe. Just looking at the bottom of the page while i'm typing, and i've noticed that it has a check box there 'Email Notification' and its ticked, so fingers crosses, it should send me an email the next time somebody replies - SO IF ANYBODY IS READING - PLEASE REPLY!! 😮‍💨

As it states next to the 'Email Notifications' check box below that only registered users are elegible. I must be registered if i've got a user name surely 😕

You are registered. I think maybe you should just check your subscribed threads, instead of wanting emails. Do you come on KMC every day?

Hi Raz - YES!! I have received 'THAT' email!! 💃

Problem is - i still haven't received any of the email notifications that replies have been made to this thread 😎

Strange if Blueyonder have blacklisted this forum - as i've NEVER been on here up until registering a few weeks ago 😕

Hi Syren - i don't come on here every day, and checking my subscribed threads at this moment in time wouldn't be toooo much of a problem as it stands, however once i get into the swing of things, there could be some seeeeerious amount threads to check through 😎

Xoni, you seem to have found a bug that wasn't emailing subscriptions that were auto-subscribed. This is now fixed.

Please unsubscribe from all threads and resubscribe to get email notifications.
