Odd that you would say that at the tribal stage, I absolutely hated that part
Also I was a bit dissappointed with Earth, after
Spoiler:
meeting Steve, he invited us to find the third planet from Sol to have a party, but Earth obviously wasn't inhabited. Was hoping to find Steve's species there.
I got to the Grox simply by having 5 allied ships with me as cannon fodder, then I quickly rushed my way into the center, always getting attacked, but by letting my allies die I survived.
To find Sol, zoom all the way out so you can see the whole universe. Notice the spiraling "arms", you can see that they seem to "break" at some places, that is places where the star density is low. Find the arm with the shortest distance before the first "break", now count two spiral-arms to the left. This is the arm where Sol is located, travel to the first "break" in this arm, at the far side of the "break" you will find two Wormholes, when orbiting the second one, Sol should be visible towards the centre, simply hover your mouse over all stars you can travel to, and the name "Sol" should show up.
EDIT: Taking a screen now, will edit it and upload soon.
As you see, my empire is at the shortest "arm", and the ring should be close to earth.
Ah cool, found sol.
Well i colonised earth and turned it into a t-3. BAD mistake as it turned the landscape reddish brown rather than green.
And when i dropped a colony on the australian continent, it fuked up aussies shape.
Anyways i colonised china too and made every one unhappy by placing so many factories. "Made in china".
Found the staff of life too, BTW how do i find "steve" in sol?
And can the grox be defeated at all? Wonder what happened to the humans too...
Well if you read my spoiler in an earlier post,
Spoiler:
Steve is nowhere to be seen outside of the center, which was very disappointing
And yes, I terraformed Earth with the staff of life first, and hated the red color so simply didn't save the game. I've found the best spot to put a colony is in Africa, that's the spot you will do the least amount of change.
As for the Grox, they can be killed yes, but they have about 1000 planets so it will take some time.

Damn steve.
Well i think you can recolor earth with the green paint(if you have it).

Sorry didn't see this post of yours last time I read through this thread.
The difference between the different Terra-scores are like this:
T0 - Can have one colony which is unable to build buildings and produce spice, ,no animals and no plants
T1 - 3 plant species, 2 herbivore species, 1 carnivore/omnivore species, can have one colony that now can build buildings and produce spice.
T2 - 6 plant species, 4 herbivore species, 2 carnivore/omnivore species, can have two colonies that now can build buildings and produce spice.
T3 - 9 plant species, 6 herbivore species, 3 carnivore/omnivore species, can have three colonies that now can build buildings and produce spice.
The fact that it changes color is just totaly random I think.
