Saiya turned to Raith, stil not havng the heart to look him in his eye.
" Yes, i suppose ill join your ittle group."
She took a deeply aggrivated breath and created a ball of black glowing fire in her palm. As it dissintegrated she sighed.
Might as well add another act to this little freak show.

Raith smiled and nodded, sitting down near the small creek, admiring the glare of the moonlight and the small fish he could see swimming around.

Relaxing her body slightly Saiya sat about a yard away from him, hidden beneath the night shade of a huge tree. She closed her eyes , percieving everything around her and let her fingers work a small hole into the bark she began picking off of the tree's massive trunk. A chill ran through her body. She moved to the other side of the tree in an attempt to be iscolated and started a small fire. It glowed an eerie black, and , annoyingly was quite cold.

Raith looked at her, as if it was lighter than it was dark, as she walked around the tree. He quietly followed, knelt down, and heated the fire as well. "You okay? And I want a truthful answer... Please?" He looked up at her, wondering where she came from, what she wanted... Who she was...

Wasn't what he was hoping for, but it was a start. "Beautiful moon..." He noted, nodding in the direction of the waning crescent.

" Indeed. "
Her voice was now quiet, distant. The moon brought many memories to her restless mind. Some of which quite pleasant....She thought they had been lost forever. For one unconcious moment her ips turned in the subtlest of smiles, and quickly faded. Slowly she moved her hand to the pendant dangling from her neck. Her slender fingers wrapped around it and she looked away.

Kage smiled at Camille as he turned around. "Thank you. But i have something that i have to do." He said as he started walking again.

"What is that?" He prodded, pointing to the amulet in her hands.

She kept her eyes focused on the distant moon and did not look away. She slid the chain around her head and let it dangle serenly , reflecting i the moon light.
" It was my sister's. It's beautiful, isn't it? Her mother - who took me in- gave it to her. You see that spot in the center? The abnormal coloring? she said its a fire. It goes out when your passion dies. "
She sighed. Why was she telling him all this? It felt frighteningly good to let it out though. That worried her.
" When I Killed.."
Her voice cut out a bit.
" It would glow so brightly...i guess i thought that it had to be right. "
She stopped for a moment. All this while she hadn't noticed that it was shimmering as she spoke.

Raith listened intently as she told the story. "It's glowing." He said as he eyed it. What did it mean?

" Yes...quite odd. "
Her voice trailed off once more, and she let her eyes fall again on Raith's. He was odd. And something about him was as well. She couldnt quite put her finger on it, but soon decided that it wasn't worth it. She would find out in time.

Raith watched her with the same intensity as she watched him. He didn't know her past, but felt oddly connected to her somehow. He shook it off as she looked away.

She tried to hide the now drowsy wave that uncumbered her. A yawn would be smothered almost instantaniously by her interlaced hands. She turned her head, her eyes closing. She hoped Raith wouldn't notice. Slowly she began to drift off, and finally fell into a light slumber.

Raith smiled and lay her down slowly. He pulled one of his pack's blankets over her, and lay down on the otherside of the fire, using the other blanket, and falling asleep.

Saiya's breath cam in short silent waves, and she roused suddenly as she felt her body move. She looked the man next to her, for a while just staring at him. Maybe...just maybe she felt safe around him. Not from others, but her inner self.
" Doesn't matter. "
She said, quietly layning back down. She moved her body a little closer, and then scolded herself for it before falling back asleep.

Raith wasn't really asleep, just laying there and watching into the darkness. He smiled as she spoke, but didn't think much of it. He sighed and closed his eyes, only to think.

"well ok if you want to come back to the group you can be safe"she sead softly and walked back to the group she headed of away from the group to camp she was geting a little tierd.
