Iron Maiden's Blood Brothers and No Prayer for the Dying

Could Judas Priest's Angel be considered a power ballad? It's slow but near the end it speeds up and gets louder.

What about Spiders or Ego-brain by System of a Down?

Meh, I don't know

Sieze the Day by Avenged Sevenfold (if that counts as a power ballad)

Cant Fight This Feeling Anymore - Reo Speedwagon
Every Rose Has Its Thorn - Poison
Sailing Away- Styx
November Rain- Guns n Roses

(PS : Anyone remember the band Cinderella, they had an ace song called A Little Shelter?)

YOU....you seem to know your shit when it comes to Music...tell me what a Power ballad is.

A ballad that isn't necessarily slow and "mushy". Artists such as Foreigner, REO Speedwagon and Whitesnake have come to be known as purveyors of such songs.

Thanks. I can't still think of any, but I got the general idea.

Also

Mutter by Rammstein

Ultimate power ballad IMO.

How about Damn Yankees High Enough
A couple songs by Sabastian Bachs band.

Soldier Side as well

I think it's generally used to apply to 80s/early 90s bombastic love songs, of a pop-based nature, which are still clearly rock.

I wouldn't say SOAD or Rammstein really fit the genre.

I like November Rain.

Bed of Roses-Bon Jovi
Home Sweet Home-Motley Crew
Alone Again-Dokken

.....to name a few.

Oh, crap-I almost forgot one of my ALL TIME favorites...

Remember Yesterday-Skid Row

Sebastian's singing is incredible....truly an underrated singer.

Is Another Day by Dream Theater considered a power ballad? 😕
