Post-Crisis Darkseid

Is Post-Crisis Darkseid same as Pre-Crisis Darkseid? Or is he current DS? Because Post-Crisis Darkseid, i believe, is when he went against Thanos in the crossovers. Is he a separate incarnation or does Post-Crisis Darkseid not exist?

Darkseid wasn't affected by the crisis at all as he hid Apokylips away in an alternate dimension.

People differentiate the two - Post and Pre Crisis Darkseid - because before the Crisis he was seemingly nigh omnipotent, Galactus style.

After the crisis, Superman has been able to beat him.

Maybe this is inconsistency...

Maybe Darkseid has become weaker....

i dunno much DS but he's pretty kick ass and they should do some cool thingy where he takes over that Parallax power or something and kicks major heroic ass!
