Yep, that kind of art would fit better in urban style comic, like Batman or Daredevil. Cosmic stories have to be crystal clear, there is always something exploding. If the art is bad in cosmic stories, I don't usually either bother to read it, because it is impossible to make out what is happening. In down-to-earth stories, the art isn't that important.
