Eve saw brad and could easily tell he was in pain so she quickly got her katana from him as she noticed the burns on his hands "Im sorry, I should have gotten it, I hadnt meant for you to hurt yourself to bring me this" she said as she gave a look that pleaded for forgiveness before she turned quickly to kill a belv that had charged at her, she charged her katana with celestial energy and sliced the belv in half as she quickly glanced back at brad.
"I'm okay," Brad said shooting a trio of arrows at a pack of belevs. "I'm healing. Just make sure you watch your back."

Brad was wondering how did the school get invaded so easily, especially with all of the teachers here. He shot another arrow at a belf that was coming behind Eve. This was turning out to be some kind of a festival.

Eve continued to defend herself against the belves but her mind kept pulling somewhere else and she really couldnt concentrate. She glanced at brad as he shot a belv from behind me, I felt weak at the moment so I poured my celestial energy into my katana as it started to glow as I continued to cut through the belves.

"I'd say it's unbreakable ice. I'll probably be in here a while." Harold said to Quiin. Harold was only attending his first day. So he didn't exactly know how to focus his celestial energy. Harold thought about it for a while, turned to Andrew and said, "Hey, Andrew. Let's see if that hammer of yours can help me out."

"ok, this is gonna prickle, and by prickle i mean sting, and by sting i mean agonizing pain"..andrew charged the tech in his hammer and swung it at the ice with all of his strength...the ice didnt budge....andrew tried again and again until a small crack appeared on the surface.."ok, who genetically bred a white belf?" he asked accusingly to noone...he swung the hammer again..

With that last swing, Harold managed to get free. "Heh, thanks Andrew. I'd hate to spend the rest of my life frozen from the neck down."

Harold saw Quinn punch the white Belf and went over and pulled a palm thrust in the same spot. The White Belf was pushed back a bit and its skin beneath its white fur began to bruise. Harold knew that in certain situations, a palm thrust could actually be more damaging than a punch. As the Belf howled in pain, Harold jumped out of its attack's way. Harold moved at Expert speed and used his momentum to increase the power of his attack as he pulled a double-palm thrust again, this time, sending the White belf flying against a wall. "This thing's not so tough when you know what to expect." Harold mocked the white belf.

Monday, 1:30 PM

The white belf got down on all fours facing Headmaster Quiin and Harold. Suddenly a blue light engulfed the white belf and it moved so fast the naked eye couldn't see it. The white belf rammed Quiin and Harold throwing the two onto the stage where the three masters still laid unconscious. Quiin recovered quickly and jumped back to his feet as the white belf howled and a thick mist covered the garden. The mist was so thick it was impossible to see your own feet.

"Blast, this creature...it must be one of the four elemental demons of the Golden Age...Atari the White Belf," Quiin said aloud ready for Atari to make his attack any second. Jack just finished killing the three belves that tried to pin him down and Jack stood with Saigon in a defensive position waiting for Atari's next move.

Jack turned around right when Atari charged at him. Jack swung Saigon with both hands and Atari bit down on the blade. Jack tried to pull his sword free but Atari lashed his head back throwing Jack up. Atari tossed the sword across the garden and Jack landed hard on the ground. Jack stood up not being able to see Atari. The white belf seemed to fuse with the mist. Quiin summoned a powerful gust of wind to try to blow the mist away but not even a hurricane force wind could move this mist for it was bound to Atari.

(Did you notice that you were talking in a narrative and then switched to 1 person 😂 I don't know why but that was just funny to me 😛)

Brad noticed that there were three head masters lying completely still on the stage when Master Quiin got tossed up there by the giant belf. He sensed that they were in the most excruciating pain and he just had to help them.

"Eve," Brad called. "You think you could watch my back so I can go help those three on stage?" He noticed that the ground was covered in a green mist and it smelled horrible. "Where the HELL are these monsters coming from?!"

Suddenly the hoods of the three men fell to the floor and their faces was revealed; Cecil, Locke, and Helen. All stood eyes opened and yet no pupils. One by one they fell to the floor and Headmaster Quiin stood shocked as bolts of red energy shot out from the three fallen masters. Quiin jumped off the stage as red energy covered the floor of the stage.

"Their Celestial has been corrupted!" Quiin shouted. "For someone to do this with such ease...his power is vastly superior than mine's!"

Quiin turned around as a white belf twice the size of a normal belf that walked on its back legs jumped down into the midst of the garden. It howled into the air and the noise was so intense that it shook the entire ground. The white belf tried to crush Quiin with its massive paws but Quiin jumped to the side avoiding the attack.

"A white belf. It's skin is so powerful that just to hurt it would take a powerful assault," Quiin said to himself.

McGurr kept the barrier up as long as she could and went to check up on Jack to find him missing, "where is he?" she asked herself as she ran up and down her office trying to locate the missing student that seemed to have vanished into thin air.

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Jack entered the garden with his bastard sword, Saigon, in hand. His eyes were completely blue glowing with a strange radiance. Jack stood looking at the students fighting the belves. One belf jumped in front of Jack ready to attack. The belf charged and Jack quickly jumped back as the belf tried to bite him. Jack sliced its face and the belf pulled back as blood hit the ground.
Jack rolled to the side as the belf leapt at Jack. Jack stabbed the belf in its side and pushed Saigon in it as far as Jack could. The belf howled in pain as Jack used his Celestial to increase his strength and push his blade completely through the belf. The belf struggled to get free but finally died and Jack removed his sword from it and turned to find himself being faced down by three belves.
Sebastian ran and Sliced through the three belves with all the might he had that can easily be done with technique and little stregnth just to save Jack's celestial from destroying the belves that were not really worth the time. He learned the plan from his classes.
The celestial charged within the sword was high and able to destroy anything. At ease, he walked over to Jack putting away his sword now planning to use his hand to hand combat.
Sebastian: How can this be? Tell me!
Jack stood up and despite Sebastian standing right next to him the mist made it impossible to see him. Jack heard his voice clearly enough and replied, "I couldn't tell you Sebastian...I just couldn't..."
"But maybe I could," a dark voice echoed through the mist. Just hearing the voice put a shiver down your spine...and yet at the same time it was welcoming, convincing, powerful, demanding, and warm. Jack looked around not knowing who's voice that was.
"Great. It just has to be a demon. Just my luck." Harold complained befre he closed his eyes and listened for Atari. He was ready for it.
((I do that all the time, I find it funny when people point it out, shows how much they pay attention 🙂 ))
Eve looked at Brad and nodded as she got closer to brad so she could cover him. A belv attacked eve as she turned to go to brad but she raised her hand and shot the belv with her celestial energy, her katana pulsated with her energy. She glanced at her sword and quickly saw another carving slowly appear, she smiled, the carving meant 'trust' in a strang language that was really ancient. She continued to fight off belves to give cover to brad as he did what he had to do.
Sebastian's eyes electrified for a quick moment, which was just a quick reaction made to his reflexes and senses. As he heard the voice, turns around into a fighting stance, awaiting for the attack by whoever was hiding within the mist. He kept a strong guard and payed close attention to his surroundings.
Sebastian: Who goes their!
Sebastian was never this serious. Usually he would just laugh around but this time, it felt as if he was about to face tremendous pain this time.
Monday, 2:00 PM The Test
(spongeherbob; belf, belf is the singular usage of belves)
The mist became thicker as it almost appeared to be just a wall now. Jack stood near Sebastian ready for what would happen next. Headmaster Quiin still remained near Harold. Quiin tried to sense where Atari was but to no avail, the beast's energy was in the mist so detecting him was useless. Quiin drew his mighty sword with angelic writing on the blade. A loud noise echoed through the mist as though someone cut open a pipe with their sword.
Headmaster Quiin saw a black figure in front of him now with a sword swinging away at Quiin. Quiin blocked the attacks but the figure was fast and kept moving. Quiin was hard pressed but managed to jump back to avoid the attacker.
"Reveal yourself coward!" Quiin shouted.
"Life shall fade away, Igros will vanish. Pain will become your pleasure for the torment you shall soon suffer will make you beg for death's relief. Your feeble attempts to prolong your life shall come to an end hence forth!" a dark voice responded to Quiin. The mist begun to fade and when it did the garden was found in complete and utter ruin.
The black figure or Atari was around and the corpses of all the belves vanished. Quiin lowered his guard and saw many of the students dead. Not a single memebr of Zeta Squad was harmed. Master Cecil stood up followed by Helen then Locke.
"This is terrible," Cecil said. "We mustn't delay any longer Headmaster Quiin. We must send these students on to the Field Exams. Every second we waste gives our enemy longer time to prepare another assault."
"Very well," Quiin answered. "Students! Report to your homeroom class! The test shall begin at once. Good luck."
Headmaster Quiin and the three masters walked off with Zeta Squad as they started to gather the bodies of the students who have been killed. Jack found Saigon across the garden and picked up his trusted sword before heading to homeroom.
Brad was running to the stage when he heard the blackest voice speaking to a agitated Head Master Quiin. It said something along the lines of life, death, pain and more death. Brad didn't really care because the mist was disappearing and so were the belves. As he was running to the stage, Brad saw the three masters Cecil, Helen and Locke get up. They looked panicked and told the students that the Field Exams were going to start immediately.
He went to go see if Eve was okay. She was looking at her sword in amazement. "Hey, Eve. He need to head to class. I hope that we end up as teammates in the field," he told her with a relieved look on his face.
andrew put down his pen..he had finished the test..he sighed..written tests (in his opinion) were harder than the physical ones..except maybe this one he thought..he rested his head in one hand..what is going on? he wondered, staring at his paper..sh*t like thit probably shouldn't happen to a bunch of kids..
Brad was glad that the test was over. He didn't like history but even he had to admit that what he learned ever since he came to the Bulma Academy 4 years ago was enough to get him through an episode of Jeopardy.
Eve went to her room and sat on her bed as she traced over some of the carvings on the black blade of her katana, the 200th craving appeared today and that meant she would be able to do more with her sword now more then ever and she was excited since it was right before the test. She decided to have a self celebration as she retrieved her ocarina and started to play while sitting on her bed with her katana still unsheathed and resting on her lap.
Sebastian finished the test. He felt like he probably got 8 of the questions right. He still had no idea of the crystal city was called for one of the questions. He passed in his test and walked away, grabing his stuff on his way to the door. He walked out and left the academy 5 minutes after walking.
Monday, 2:00 PM
With the test completed Jack headed back to his dorm. He sat Saigon on the bed and set down at his desk. His notes were scattered across the table. Now Jack waited for the results to come on who's team he would be in. Jack was confident enough about the test but he wanted to know who his teammates were.
Eve left her room and headed down to the garden with her usual sketchbook in one hand and her katana in the other, she hadnt decided on what to do with her spare time, to draw or to train herself and to see just how far she can go now with her katana. She sat in her usual spot and just stared down at the deep blackness of her black and slowly traced a few selected carvings, they were the ones that stuck out in her memories.
Brad was bored all over again. Between the festival, the belf attack and the test, there was nothing for him to do. He decided that he should just rest. After all, the field exams were going to happen any day now. He reminisced over all of the things that he'd seen in the past four years and that helped him relax more and fall to sleep.
