Pete Wisdom vs Captain Britain

Reading New Excalibur lately got me curious about this.... I don't really know too much about either character myself, so this is more of an asking thread to those more knowledgable than I.... what can they do, and how would they hold up in combat?

Pete Wisdom managed to cut Colossus with his hot knives IIRC.

Pete Wisdom has the lamest powers ever. yes even lamer then that elephant that made you horny or that girl that can set herself on fire and still feel the Paine.

hot knives? why did Claremont feel he was worth saving as one of the mutants that kept his powers?

i dont know what his personal powers are all i know is that he has excaliber and that its suppose to be uber powerful
