After careful inspection of the explosion area, Harvey and Detective Chenevier went to one of the diners of some coffee. "Sir, I may not be familiar with your methods... but shouldn't we be looking for suspects?" Chenevier asked, confused by Harvey's actions.
Harvey was slow to answer, as though he was considering ignoring Chenevier's question. "There is only one clue that narrows down the search so far. The chemicals used in the explosive were a bunch of over the counter chemicals that could be purchased in just about any store... This gives use two things to consider. One, the suspect must have been able to purchase these items or have someone there to aid them in a purchase, and two there must be a store somewhere in the state that has a record of someone purchasing regular, everyday items." Harvey said quietly as he sipped his coffee.
Chenevier looked confused for a second. "I... I'm not sure I understand what you mean sir." Chenevier said trying to make sense of what he just heard.
Harvey looked at Chenevier skeptically. "What I mean is there are no outstanding clues and nothing to narrow down the search, meaning that everyone in New York is a suspect and we are back to square one... I'm surprised you made detective without learning such a basic concept." Harvey said before taking another sip of his coffee.
Outside the diner, a young man in a black track suit was laughing about the grate prank he played on the people of Times Square. "I can't believe you weren't there to see it... the way they screamed was hilarious." The young man said into his cell phone. "You won't be disappointed, I guarantee this place will be in a state of emergency before you arrive."
Harvey put down his coffee and stood up. "Wait here." Harvey told Chenevier before walking toward the exit. Harvey felt tired and just wanted to smoke a cigarette before worrying about the case any further. "...this place will be in a state of emergency before you arrive. said a voice from the alley to the left. Harvey nonchalantly walked in front of the young man, he quickly grabbed the young man by the collar of his shirt and took the phone from the young man's hand. "He'll call you back from jail." Harvey said before he crushed the phone in his hand. "Tell me what you know about the explosion in Times Square."
