Blob versus Thing

I was just curious as to what people thought would happen if the thing decided to fight with the blob. 😕

how would 'blob get flung'? his whole power is maintaining a connection with a single peice of earth. Not to say thing isn't really strong just that blob wouldn't be flung by practically anyone short of picking up the peice of earth he is stuck to.
