thor didn't manage to pound right through it nor even manage to even slightly break the shield. Only reason it was breached cause his mjolnir has the ability to absorb the magnetic field around Mag's body effectively shutting of his power.
and btw, what X-men #1 is that. The original first issue or the adjectiveless modern?
