Morlun Vs. Rogue

Then guess this match depends on who uses there advantages better.

Rogue with her flight and Morlun with his speed on the ground.

I heard power draining a another power drainer never goes right with Rogue.

They usually are both sent back knocked out. at least thats what I hear.

IIRC Selene drained Rogue faster then Rogue could drain her..and she's a type of vampire lifeforce-leech.

FYI... I'm pretty sure this fight was intended to be about classic Rogue... not Sunfire Rogue

I always thought that, but nobody agrees with me, hes underated. 🙁

Well he's dead now.... so.... 😛

I don't think he's class 100.... but he certainly seems to be around 50 minimum

Kudos, Scoobs. I was going to say all of this, but you beat me to it. And with scans no less.

Morlun is such a badass. And he's EASILY Class 100 strength.

He would destroy Rogue.

Morlun is badass but he's not class 100 i would say around the 20s like it was stated before the harder than hulk part was due to him draining spidy with every blow and besides you dont have to be class 100 to preform the feats of strenght morlun's displayed anyone from the class 10-30 range could easily do it....oh and the torch can burn a lot hotter than the sun when he "expands" his power he's going supernova which is a star dying the temp reached then are fary beyond that of which the star had ever reached during the course of it's liftime

Was that proved? Or are you just speculating? Cuz you just be assuming that Morlun was draining Spidey with each punch. If it was proved, please inform me as such. Scans would be nice, too.

Cuz it sure seemed to me that Spidey was still fighting strong all throughout their fights. Just that Morlun wasn't going down

And quick question. Why, if I may ask, did you bring up Human Torch's nova capabilities? 😕

Because I asked about Rogues current powers, Draco explained the flames are stronger than Torch's.

Oh, okay. Didn't catch that. My apologies.

But are they really?

the whole thins is still open to debate about morlun's stenght class but how about this to help prove the my oppinion during the other story arc after morlun beat spidy to within an inch of his life the police showed up and morlun retreated now you gotta ask youself based on every other class 100 that we've seen in marvel if morlun was class 100 why then did he run from the cops?...answer durablity morlun's not durable enough to survive getting shot same as spidy from all the other class 100s that we've seena bullet wouldnt be enough to stop them so why run? and besides can you prove he is class 100?

No... the answer is that Morlun couldn't care less about the cops and had nothing to prove

He deliberately caused a gas explosion and stayed right at the heart of it... I doubt he's worried about bullets

I still think he's around class 50

if you read the text from when the cops showed up it tells you the dispite all his power he is not invulnerable soo if that's the case why run from a gun? he may be resistaint to certaint types of damage dosent mean he's class 100

You have a good point, but I really think a guy who barely notices Spider-Mans strongest punches (they have hurt Hulk on more than one occasion), who walks through concrete walls like it's nothing and who survives huge explosions, would be afraid of some bullets.

I think that - after all the trouble he went through - he wanted to enjoy feeding on Spider-Man, you can't do that when a few dozen of policemen show up, shouting and shooting and running in the way.

I think he's above class 50, but it's only my opinion. We haven't seen much strength feats of Morlun, so it's difficult to say.

Plus he's dead... so we probably (hopefully) wont see any more feats from him either.... but you know how comics are with dead characters, so you never know

Hopefully?

I'd like to see him come back as something other than a Spidey villian. If he terrorized the X-Mansion or something it would be pretty sweet.

I suppose... I mean I liked him as a character.... I'm just sick of the "back from the dead" twist that every comic has done to death (no pun intended)

i wouldnt say that he brushes off blows from spidy, spidy did a pretty good number on him both times they fought just not good enough

Disagree.... Morlun never seemed like he had been hurt by Spider-Man until the nuclear reactor incident or the Other story

Kid Kurdy just explained it, but Morlun wasn't running away from the cops. He wanted to feed on Peter in private, to savor the meal.

By no means was he running. At the least, he's class 75, but in my opinion, he's easily class 100.
