Seriously, though, dueling is what made me better....all of my best work (mostly) has been for duels and competitions. Without it, I would have remained lazy and not discovered new stuff to do. Now, of course, my record sucks *cough8-10cough*, but it's a necessary evil of having pushed myself to try to beat the masters of sig-making (and largely failing, but occasionally succeeding).

I think all of us have improved a lot through duelling. I know that it's pushed me to try things I might not have otherwise.

I totally agree. Although I still have alot of improvement to make....

If you were to take a look at the sigs that I had done previously, and then at the sigs that I have done for my duels...I have been pushing myself. ✅

It is hard to challenge yourself when you are just sitting and staring at the screen, wanting to make a sig. But when you are required to make one, you have a different mind set and really strive to do the things that you might not do otherwise.

You must have a brain tumor or something..

nope i agree with Baka the deadline gets to you sure i do animation in duels i don't normally (due to my dislike of ImageReady) but you lose al lot of creativity as you don't pick the render i mean i fail atrociously with certain renders (anything girly) but do ok with others (superhero, soldier renders) duelling improves you but sometimes it ruins you as DigiMark said it can push you too much

But im still up for a duel

I would say it makes you be more creative as sometimes you're working with things you normally would never touch.

I lack motivation, so my signature making skills will never go anywhere near decent. 😬
