The War Begins

Jin Jian Han sits on his throne and his beautiful daughter Jin Liu Yan enters the room.

- "Father, the units are ready...Jia Fa Rong awaits our help" - Jin Liu Yan said.

Jin Jian Han stood up and walked to the outside courtyard, his massive troops all kneeling to him. Jian Han awaited his commanders to report their status.

Mao Fei Zhong walked among his troops looking for his daughter Mao En Nu. His wife Mao Kun Tiao walked along side him.

- "Is it really necesary to bring her to war with us again?" - Kun Tiao asked.

- "Yes darling wife, the men trust her, look up to her...besides look at them all, they are a little older than her, they follow her into battle...not exactly me" - Fei Zhong said chuckling at the end of his statement.

Jia Fa Rong looked to Xyangyang, smoke coming from the city.

- "I hope this battle proves to be more than just a waste of time Fa Rong" - An Mao Shou said leader of the mercenaries.

- "You will get your pay after this is done Shou, we will measure the strength of those who would potentialy propose a threat to my rule and then I will crush them without mercy....those who oppose me shall die by my sword" - Jia Fa Rong said.

- "You better be commited to that idea Rong" - Shou said and left to a room next of the throne room where other mercenaries were.

Ryu Hio Shin or Black dragon as they called him stood still on top of a statue in the courtyard looking at the massive army of the Jin dynasty. He waits readily with eyes focused for in all his life of assasinating and bounty hunting he now gets a chance to save lives rather than taking them for money.

Zhan Ai Mu remained stationary staring at the troops for a quiet minute before being alerted of Jin Jian Han. Turning, eyes would quietly assume a downward position as his form went into a kneel. "Lord, the troops are fit for combat." Still remaining in a kneeling position, eyes would slowly trace towards a figure along one of the many statues littering the courtyard. Quickly moving back to Jin Jian Han, he would bow equally to his daughter without fail.

Liu Yan smiled at Zhan Ai Mu.

- "You don't have to bow Zhan Ai Mu, you are almost like family" - Liu Yan said, she then saw the figure of Ryu Hio Shin.

Jin Jian Han put his hand on Zhan Ai Mu's shoulder.

- "Thank you Zhan, this battle shall bring us glory and honor to us all...we must liberate the land from the Criminals...everything depends on it...Ryu Hio Shin!" - Jin Jian Han called out.

Having already decided on his weapon of choice, the long crescent blade remained sheathed just beyond his waist line as he remained motionless. Not flinching ever the so slightly, eyes would quietly be on Liu Yan. Facial gestures gave away how one was feeling, and perhaps body language as well.

Ryu Hio Shin heard the call and quickly jumped down the statue. He ran toward Jin Jian Han and after a few moments moving through the massiveve army he reaches Jin. Ryu kneels down with head tilted down. "Good day my lord and my princess. Do you have something for me to do for you?" he said asked still kneeling down.

Jin Jian Han took out a roll of parchment with a drawing of Xyangyang.

- "Ryu, I want your troops to take the left flank, follow the river and storm the city using the bridge. Zhan, follow Jin Ai Man's banner on the center. Liu Yan's forces will advance on the right flank while King Mao's forces and King Jia's attack from behind the walls. Once the left Flank is breached and Liu Yan enters the city by the use of the raiding platforms, Ryu and Liu Yan will send out a call for my forces to enter on the center and meet Zhan's troops" - Jin Jian Han said.

Mao En Nu stood, leaning over a map of the area, her fathers head officer surrounded her. "...their back is weak here and here. If a troops were able to sneak aroun like this," She quickly signaled with her hand what her plan for action was. "And ambush them from behind, the front forces should be able to break through. By breaking through the line, we will divide their power and their attention."

"I'll be able to do that." Said Mui Yai Jang walking up and bowing to the Emperor. "I could take my part of the forces and sneak around through the plains here" said Mui Yai Jang pointing at a part in the map. "They won't expect a thing, I'll turn my forces in a crook silently and we'll wait in the nearby forest until I hear the signal to charge. Then I can charge my forces to their beak. They will put all their attention to us. Then Ryu can attack them from the north, and Zhan, from the east or west. Efcourse my lord, this is your decision" Mui wore a light samurai plate with double handed sword on his back, and long black hair.

Ryu studies the map."A great strategy my Lord but if I may give a sugestion also?."he asked. "If I would be given permission to go ahead of my troops and sneak up the city wall and guard towers."he said trying to provide a good plan of attack."I can take out the overseers and guards an delaying them of their counter attack thus giving us a surprise advantage, then I signal my troops for the attack."He said hoping Jin would approve. Ryu always went for sneaky attacks since he is a ninja. But he knows it is the emperor's decision.

Jin Jian Han smiled at his commanders.

- "Brilliant as always my good men, act as a shadow Ryu and Yai Jang go ahead with your plan, if we surround them they will have nowhere to run" - Jin Jian Han said and walked to his horse.

- "Once the front defenses are penetrated, my son Jin Ai Man will follow the King's banner, so make your attack swift and with honor" - Jin Jian Han said and the forces of the Jin Dynasty began marching out of the city.

Liu Yan got on her horse and was getting ready to leave. Her guard unit was made of only women. Her troops were men.

Zhan Ai Mu's unit was composed simply of an array of weapon specialists. Between males and females, the total was six to be exact including himself. Having already positioned himself ahead of his unit as always remaining quiet.

Ryu jumped on his horse and then signaled his troops to follow him. His troops were composed of mostly swordsmen and some are archers. Ryu
follows the plan and goes through the route the king made. He and his troops followed the river and as always Ryu keeps an eye on the enviornment to make sure there are no surprises.

(I don't think we're attacking a city, I think we're going to have a plain battle. Dunno)

Mui Yai Jang sat up on his horse. His "legion" was made up of swift and deadly soldiers. Almost all on horses, some Archers, some with daggers or short swords. He marched his army throu the entrance. "I will send this eagle flying throu the air, with the Jin Dynasty Banner in it's claws. That will mean that my forces have took all of the attention of the enemies, meaning the rest of the forces strike" explained Mui.

((We are attacking the fort of Xyangyang, so basically it is a city))

The Crime Lord's forces were waiting at Xyangyang, catapults placed at the other side of the walls. Archers on the walls and soldiers on foot from the entrance of the city.

- "There they are men, go and fight with honor!" - Jin Jian Han said riding his horse to his command post where he would await the signal from his commanders.

Jin Liu Yan rode her horse to the right side of the fort. She was met on the way by soldiers and riders. Liu Yan took out her swords and started to sight with the agility and grace that made her known throughout the land.

Mui Yui Jang rode his forces throu the forest, to the border lines. As they got close to the border line, he signaled his troops to be silent. The forest was preety close to Xyangyang, and a wrong movement or noise would reveal them completely. He waited for the signal from Ryu. He would then strike the troops near the entrance. The city would completely forget about their other sides, and target his troops. Then like planned, Mui would let let free an eagle with the King's Banner to soar from the sky, signaling all the other forces to strike. This might actually work... he thought to himself.

Ryu and his troops were nearing the left side of the wall and before they could be seen he signals his troops to stop. He jumped off his horse and told his troops to lay low until he signaled them with his sword. Ryu spotted guard and riders. He could hear the fierce battle on the right flank. Like a shadow he sneaked passed all the guards on the ground until he reached the wall. He climbed up carefully without being seen. Ina few seconds he was on the wall and quick began his work. He pulled out his sword and began killing all the archers, soldiers and overseers to keep them from calling for back up. After a few minutes of silent kills he raised his sword the shun a light to his troops signaling them to attack with the raiding platforms. His troops stood up and began running towards the Wall. The guards on the ground were surprised. When the troops attacked they massacred the guards below and without the help from the archers from the wall it didn't take long. The raiding platforms were placed and the soldiers began climbing. Ryu looks at the other side of the wall and peeks into the city the soldiers were all running around maybe because the right flank was being attacked. Ryu had to stop these guys from reinforcing th right wall so he and his men ran down while Ryu jumped down and then pulled his sword out and stabbed the wall making him slow down and when he was near the ground he yanked his sword out. The soldiers saw him and pulled out their weapons and so the battle had begun. Ryu jumped at the soldiers and slashed 1 soldier and then stabbed another one. He hopes that Jin Liu Yan had made it also.

~Ummm okey, you just totally ruined Mui's plan but whatever~

~Sorry, but I thought I was the one that was supposed to breakthrough the left wall not you.~

~The plan was that some of your forces or you kill the guards, and my forces distract all of the troops, giving your troops an advantage to break throu the gates while the enemies troops are attentioned at mines~
