I'm new to Smallville so please dont flame me for asking stupid questions. But did Clark's scar go away? Because i remember when that saleslady felt his chest and he lied to her about it being a birthmark. Then later on i remember when his shirt was being torn open after Van shot him with the kyptonite bullets and there was no mark. Did it go away?

It disappears in the next episode when Clark and Jonathan have their big fight.

was it a result of the red kryptonite ring being smashed? what caused it to go away?

Regards to the Kryptonite Bullet: Clark kind of has a super healing process, even to kryptonite.

but how does that explain why the mark went away? i recall him getting on the ground screaming and the mark going away. But why?

Because he is superman, he can heal himself.
