are you even sure there is going to be a sequel!? I think it should just be left alone as just one movie. I don't really think they should have a sequel.

I agree there shouldn't be a sequal but if there is then it mite be good. Not all sequal's turn out to be rubbish.

yeah that is true. But when you look at newer movies, most sequels are rubbish. :/

I know, most movies don't need a sequal. Hostel, I guess it's one of those movies where you don't need a sequal but you can make one. You can have a dfferant guy and 3 differant unsuspecting friend's.

I think that's what'll happen. Maybe they'll make this movie centre on how this whole thing got set up.

Oh yes, there will be a Hostel 2.
We can blabla all day discussing the right, quality and usefullness of sequels... the majority of them indeed suck donkeyballs.
But in the case of Hostel (which kicked butt Period!) the idea behind the movie and the flaws in it can be used/corrected to make a way better sequel.
Sure, sequaling is cheap and uninspired, but does that matter if the end result manages to blow your socks of? Hostel 2 might just do that.

Here's what Roth has to say in a interview:

"I'm writing 'Hostel 2' for girls — it's going to be three girls this time," he revealed. "They're studying in Italy for the summer, and they get lured, and they go back to ... well, we're going to go back to a lot of familiar places."

Through the existence of this Italian hostel, Roth plans to reveal that the Slovakian stopover from the first flick is actually part of a chain — kinda like a Motel 6, but with decapitations instead of a continental breakfast.

"It's all part of the organization; they've got the whole thing set up all over the place, and they have different scouts," Roth said. "We're going to learn a lot more about how it all works. In 'Hostel 2,' you're really going to see the ins and outs of the whole organization and how they get people and kill them.

And there will be plenty of blood and torture," he added with a sadistic grin. "I can tell you that."

sounds sweeeeeeeeeeeeet! Usually girls are the best in horror movies imo. I dunno, just like Nancy in ANOES, I thought she was probably the best hero in those movies. 🙂

I thought the guy in the first Hostel was cool
