This episode was strangely reminiscent of....Final Destination 1, 2, and I guess the upcoming 3.

With the whole "as soon as you alter one's destiny, someone else's fate changes"..and in this case, death. Like Clark saved Lana, so Lois was next to die, but Clark saved her just as she was about to get electrocuted, so Pa Kent was next.

All those powers...and I couldn't even save him...

There should be a letter sent to the people of Smallville 😠

so i guess by the sounds of it clarks dad dies and some people seem to have not liked this episode
