ANH Obi-Wan vs. J.K. Burthola

No Force-powers, only lightsabers. Who would win? The elder or the youngling? The setting is inside the Republic Senate chamber.

I thought of this as being almost equivalent. Obi-Wan fought crappily against Darth Vader. However, we know little of J.K. Burthola's fighting capabilities. The only thing we know about Mr. Burthola is that he found out that Kamino was erased from the Archives.

Dude that was OT. Obi-Wan is still powerful in ANH. Heck he even met his nemesis Maul and defeated him!

I know, it doesn't mean that you're powerful that you must be a good fighter! I admit Obi-Wan was powerful in ANH, but that didn't prevent him of fighting as a Youngling against Vader.

He said that before he fought Vader: You cannot win. If you hurt me, I will become even more powerful than you ever dare imagine. (or something like that, because I watched ANH in French only. Here's the line in French: Tu ne peux pas gagner. Si tu me terrasses, je deviendrai bien plus puissant que tu n'aurais jamais osé imaginer.) I assume Obi-Wan was confident of winning against Vader.

Dude thats not saying hes confident, hes just saying if he dies, he'll become powerful(as in become one in the force)

I never said that Padmé was Force-sensitive directly, you just assumed I said she was. The entire thread in which I talked about her having a Force-sensitivity gene was about genetics and its link with the Force-capabilities of people.

No, you virtually flat out said that Padme must be Force-sensitive, and your whole gene theory went down the tubes.
