Yeah, like in The Truce at Bakura.

I remember liking that book...but thinking that it was probably one of the overall "worse" star wars books out there...I mean most star wars books are just absolutely enthralling...this one was simply good

Bakura was, for me, a bit of a letdown as compared to some of the other books(i.e.Jedi Academy), but was an ok story. Several books failed to hold my interest, though. Stories like Children of the Jedi, The Crystal Star, and the Correllian trilogy just weren't as great as Spector and Vision of the Future.

I don't know why...but I still like the Young Jedi Knights series the second best overall...NJO is first....but I think b/c I first started my star wars reading with the YJK series...I have a "soft spot" for them

I can remember when I saw my first YJK book at the supermarket or Books-A-Million back in the spring of 1997. I got Lightsabers first. Then, the day I saw the Special Edition of A New Hope in the theaters, I picked up Jedi Under Siege on the way home following the movie..

I got Diversity Alliance first....I won it free at the library...they had a kiddie box of prizes...it was a summer contest thingy...you read books and fillout a sheet of paper with the title and your rating of the book and then they pick out 10 and let you pick from the prize box....I believe Jedi Under Siege to be among my favorites of that series

I finally got around to reading this book.,....I thought it was absolutely lovely....

Spoiler:
I thought the journal entries of Shmi Skywalker were surperb...they lent great depth to both her and Leia's characters

I am waiting for this one to come out in paperback.

I finally read it.......it was good...uh I'll get back to this after I correct something
