A dutch rapper wrote a song about religion,
here are the lyrics:

...

Amen.

Baie interresant, my friend. Ek glo ook nie in die God van die Bybel nie, en ek dink die Christelike siening van God is dom, idioties en lagwekkend. Ek sien die bestaan en alles wat is as God.

Re: The one thing I don’t like about religion.

Only one thing? 😉

The problem of religion is in the way people usually understand faith. People think you just need to believe in some ramdom dogma, and if it show senseless to you it is you who do not have a strong faith. That is an apology to ignorance, you never have to think just have faith.

Heavily gotten out of hand superstition,
it is the religion, therefore not my religion.
Because I am no sucker who is frightened of death
or fears that my soul with my body will spoil.
All religion has been based on fear,
because in their heart the religious people are most frightened.
Because they cannot mentally accept that they will digest after their dead to ash. And that there afterwards nothing is,
for this reason they make each other wise that there is something
what we mortals cannot understand , smell, tests, hear, to see or seize. Conclusion: it must, however, be nothing, because when this is all it must be sad to dedicate your life to it, because you cannot avoid the death

God-damned, god is for damned. **** all sources which have invented that shit. God-damned, god is for damned. You have not yet lost if have started you.

Religious people brainwash themself, they act like they happy but for the half they allready have died and they are in mental need because their complete life stands already dominated by death. They really do everything for their belief, they make of themselves a dependent sloof. To let their complete life by be managed by a book, of which they dont even know the writer. They stand sing songs as herd animals, and try their force their belief to us. In the media, with flyers and even at your door, those Jehova's try catch you in their rut. When you frightened of the death then join us, because the kind lord there is also for you and me. But why isn't that dickhead not so good to do something to the developing countries?

Goodevening,

According to foreign office reports, the number of religiously
motivated wars is still heavily increasing. Last night, a minister
named a list of countries that seemed to cover the entire
civilized world. Countless examples of pelgrims persecution,
torture and terrorism, forced the government to view their
overall picture as a world threathening situation.

The belief, what a pure madness I can hardly look to the news still. Everywhere war in the name of Allah, or god or other dramatic cases. Several believe drive people from each other, the what kind of a duty is find other the objection. Each human live is neutrally started and then by the parents the belief on is squat. Without there ever for, split up idiots ask a child the belief in your flatulence. They say that it hears your education, but it only gives madness and frustration. And if you grow up must you also need to choose , throw away your life or lose your parents. **** these parents, let them believe, but when they die they still go to hell.

it translated it with help of babelfish, i hope you can understand more of it now.

However, faith is a strong way of living. I agree with you mostly, people should not live in ignorance. You should think and have faith. I will give you an example. Every morning and every evening I chant to a Gohonzon, but chanting is just making noise and the Gohonzon is just a piece of paper with writing on it. What makes it work for me is the power of faith that I intensionally manifest in my practice. Faith with eyes open.

The one thing I don’t like about religion is, they make you feel like something is wrong with you (there are some exemptions).

This is particularly true of Christianity, in which one is considered to be inherently flawed by nature of being a human being, but is expected to acheive an unattainable level of perfection; no matter how good one is, he will never be good enough.

Moreover, the Christian view that sin is the default nature of human beings is opressive and pessimistic.

I can't stand the fact that Christians have far too much say in politics. They seem to have an opinion on everything, complain, complain, complain...

The one thing I don't like about religion is HELL!!!

shocking

There is no Hell, the real Hell is the Hell we make for ourselves, here, in this time. We make our own lives Hell, that's what Hell is.

Finally another person who understands the true meaning of hell. 😆

I believe that Hell isn't a place full of fire and brimestone, but a place where you can't be in the presence of God.

The one thing I don't like about religion, is that many people believe they are better than others because they belive a certain way. Some of those people treat others with contempt which is the opposite of most religions where you're supposed to "love one another"

Religion should only have 1 rule. The "Golden Rule."

The one thing I don't like about religion is that people use it as an explanation for what people would do anyway had religion never existed.
