FDA Approves Diabetes Inhaler Exubera

not that i'm diabetic, but i just figured i'd post this for all you diabetics who havent heard the news. commence the jumping for joy.

I read about this in the newspaper yesterday and thought it was pretty cool. Unfortunately you can't use it if you're asthmatic, though.

hey its in the same form as the new asthma meds like Foradil and Simbicort.

Yeah I thought that was ironic that diabetics got the inhaler (I am not sure of the propellant in the inhaler) and asthmatics got it taken away...........what a day for progress in medicine.

I heard you can get a device that can help improve your lungs...

The device makes it harder to breath, you take 30 breaths in the morning and after 3 weeks its improved your lungs muscels...

Parently really good for asthmatics... but I've yet to hear from someone whos used it...
