Valentine's Day is my least favorite holiday as well, so I can sympathize with the inability to come up with tons of ideas.
Both are very well done and don't do much wrong.
CW - The animation is cute. The font/colors/background/etc. all match well, and I like the candy hearts. I thought they could have been brought out a little more, as they kind of fuzzy-size into the background.
Ken - Nicely trades in any cuteness for a completely polished look. Any background (even simple ones) that doesn't look stupid impresses me, as I have trouble with them myself. The sparkles are nice, and the occasional glowing heart-shaped sparkle thingy is a cool touch. My only qualm is with the white arc that comes swooping down from the top left through the word 'Love'. It kind of dissects the word in half, making neither half seem entirely right. Small carrots, though, since it's a great sig.

Ken gets the win...The animation is cute as hell, but Ken's is much more polished. Sans animation, it would have been easier to decide, but I just don't think it made up for it enough. Still, CW captured "cute teen-style love" well, as did Ken with a more classic romanticism. Both took different approaches and were very solid. This was tough (and this is actually an edit, since I wrote one for each of you winning to see which one looked "right" to me) but congrats to both.

You'll have a chance to compete in an 8-way free-for-all later in the tourney to have the right to play in the 3rd-4th-5th-place match at the same time as the finals. If you don't want to, that's fine, but it's another opportunity to gain tourney fame if you're interested.
