I'll most likely pick this up. Darkhorse has pretty much never let me down, and until they do, I'll keeping buying their comics. It looks interesting, to say the least. I'm gonna be smart and reserve judgement for a while longer.

i think its a brilliant new direction for star wars. if they continued in the direction they were going before this, it was getting kinda old. This is original and very different. that alone should mean something important. This is not another stupid arch like new jedi order, clone wars, etc. this is the future Star wars, possibilities are endless.

no, NJO was grounded, stable, because their was established characters. Maybe you can say up to par with TOTJ. when that was coming out, that was bizarre, but it was widely successful, i believe this will be the new TOTJ

I think this "100 years in the future" thing is a good idea. Personally, reading about Han and Leia's marriage and all that Yuuzhaan Zong shit got really old. Ancient EU continuity jumped around hundreds of years, so why not the future of SW continuity?

D'yall think bringing the Sith back is a good idea, or should they be more creative and make up a new villian?

Too true, Ill probably pick it up later on as well regardless of opinions. Im not the kind who takes all this stuff as 'OMG they screwed up continuity! This is teh gay! Star Wars is over!' *slits wrists*. I'd rather read it as I read all the EU stuff, seperate stories, rather than one long continuing thing.

IMO, 'future' Star wars is nearing the end of its life unless they do something new like this. How long do we have to read about Han/Leia/Luke/Yuuzhaan Vong/reforming Republic crap, far out, its just the same old 'villains come in, try to take over, heroes win with some losses'. Repetitive. Shooting way into the future is like...blasting off into space from Earth, theres no limit. The good news about this era is that theres so many new characters that can come into play that wont even affect the OT-NJO era.

EU is cool and all, but for me, the SW timeline ended at ROTJ. Everything after that is just for fun.

So the Sith are back, i wonder what happened to the Jedi council and Luke/Han and the rest. 100 years is a long time ahead, but you got to have something reasonable to back the stories up which occur 100 years after...

Lets see how things turn out....

they won't be allowed to die ...or at least give detail of it. I love darkhorse, but the fact that my local comic store doesn't carry Darkhorse just plain pisses me off. Ordering is annoying.
