Strangely spitting on others seemed to hold no penalty when I was at school.

UPDATE: I FOUND THE REASON WHY HE ACTUALLY SPAT IN HER FACE.

My cousin died from cancer a while back. That cousin was the older sister of the boy who was suspended. The reason he spit in her face was because his girlfriend swore on Nicole's (deceased cousin) grave that she didn't cheat on him. She did. And then "Hack-TOOEY!"
