True, that's an awesome song. But, it is not a humorous song...do you knwo the Lyrics?

Yes I do and it's a little tongue in cheek - Morrissey admitted this in an interview I saw way back in the late eighties Bardock.

Read it mate

Girlfriend in a coma, I know
I know - it’s serious
Girlfriend in a coma, I know
I know - it’s really serious

There were times when I could
Have murdered her
(but you know, I would hate
Anything to happen to her)

No, I don’t want to see her

Do you really think
She’ll pull through ?
Do you really think
She’ll pull through ?
Do ...

Girlfriend in a coma, I know
I know - it’s serious
My, my, my, my, my, my baby, goodbye

There were times when I could
Have strangled her
(but you know, I would hate
Anything to happen to her)
Would you please
Let me see her !

It's all humour

There were times when I could
Have strangled her
(but you know, I would hate
Anything to happen to her)
Would you please
Let me see her !

Yeah, it's an ironic song.

Johnny Cash - Hurt

Only song that really hits the spot.

But how is it ironic?

I can understand that it's not literal...but humorous? In what way?

nice 😂

It's ironic in the sense that it's clearly not meant in the sense it seems to be.

Even the title is a dead giveaway.

You just listen to that however you're feeling, don't you? Let's be honest.

I'm convinced that guy's variety doesn't extend beyond 5 bands.

Every single music post he makes has to do with either Big Country or The Kinks, it's depressing.

I think it is. German humour usually involves a buxom wench and a bratwurst I believe. Not that thats a poor thing. 🙂
