Well maybe that's mostly in my religion then. But doesn't a prophet in the Old Testament see a vision of God? I don't where it is, but I studied the Old Testament two years ago. I could just be getting my books mixed up.

Oh wait, I found something. Does the regular Bible have the book of Moses?
The only place in scripture that I know where there is a description would be in Rev....With the White hair like wool riding on a horse, but this is symbolic.
Originally posted by apoc001Yeah, but it still doesn't give a description of what god looks like though.
Well actually, I found something else since then.
Exodus 3:6 Moreover he said, I am the God of thy father, the God of Abraham, the God of Isaac, and the God of Jacob. And Moses hid his face; for he was afraid to look upon him.
I also found other stuff. But most of it's in the New Testament.

I would think of it in more in terms of the word omnipotence...
God being above all forms of life, logic, Physical constants and rules...
So god could break gravity and rise, god could create energy, god could create a new colour... there is nothing he couldn't do....
God is above such a thing as death as it is mearly another rule place on us...

True. But I think I found what I was looking for.
Genesis 5:1 "This is the book of the generations of Adam. In the day that God created man, in the likeness of God made he him."
That proves that it wasn't just a mental or emotional image he created us in, but in his physical likeness.
How could a god have a form of a man or a woman? It would be limiting wouldn't it?
