*james looked at scott and looked back at the water, taking another few sips*

"i'm not mad..." he croaked silently and stared at the water

*james continued to be silent*

"why so quiet are you upset yet cause of alex.."

*james looked at him*

"no... your neck is still bleeding.. and i feel bad..." he said as he turned away

"i'll live..."

"i know that..." he said as he stretched

*james started licking his paw*

"does it still hurt or did the aloe take effect?" he asked scott

"no its fine but alex is looking for an excuse to tear you apart now"

*james sighed*

"i can only take one of you on at a time..." he said

"i wont harm you"

".... i dont want to fight him..." he said "but i will do what i must to stay alive..."

"just avoid him until i heal"

"ok..." he said as he laid down
