there'll be one free practice on friday, follwed by the qualy session on saturday, which is split into two sections of 45 mins by a two minute break. So, the pre quali on friday is eliminated.
Other new rules: One engine per weekend. Wich has to last about 800kms. Should you replace it, you lose 10 positions on the starting grid.
automatic gearboxes are banned, also the start control. Though the traction control is still in.
i wish i could put some sorta thing in schumi's car just before the race so that his car explodes. he has never had n e misfortune EVER!f u wanna talk bout misfortunes talk bout mika. spanish grand prix i think 2000. he had over-lapped 3rd place montoya and still IN THE LAST FUC!IN LAP OF DA RACE his engine exploded. i think schumi needs a taste of that
Yerss, when Schumi went to Benetton they were what 3rd or 4th best team, his superior driving helped them develop the car so that he could eventually win the Drivers championship, he was able to keep the car going for longer because of his superior driving skills.
When he went to Ferrarri they had not wond the championship in 20 years, they have won the last 4 because he helped develop the car again, he has less failures than his team-mates with the same car because he drives it a lot better.

Most of the f1 pilots know instinctively wich gear to go on, corran..that's why the best pilots are there...no chinese, remember? 😉
Anyway...schummy's time is over...The fact that he never has car problems are mostly due to the fact that the ferrari car is very reliable, not only that he drives it well. Though accidents do happen...remember that loose wheel in 2002? (i think)..or the fire starting at refueling last year.
anyway...yeah yerss....there are practices on friday...they just don't count as prequali. They're just free practices.
