AC, there's nothing to get. I understood your point exactly. How can you combat thousands of Britney fans...etc, etc. You know one thing here that seems to be true is you can't (when the occasion calls) accept the truth, even if it may be brutal to you, and even after people accept your opinion. I for one don't like to argue anymore when it comes to my opinions. You back up your assumptions and facts with some valid points. I am not saying anything so entirely unfounded and new re: the Beatles. Heck, it's just a generally accepted principle.

The one thing I think you need to learn, and it was a tough lesson for me also, is when to walk away; when to zip it.

Britney fans are a snapshot thats the point AC doesn't get and the simple flaw in his logic 😆

So simple.

Nah longevity = truth and that's the point you missed about Britney she's popular now but won't be in 40 years.

Game over

😂

Oh, so that's why you always use the "Had to be there" adage? They're not that timeless then are they? Longevity doesn't equal truth. It means they're very appreciated. It's not a fact that they are more influential, no matter HOW many people believe so. Mass opinion = opinion.

I was never talking about Britney or her music you cretin. I've said this many times.

Quiero, it is a very good list-no doubt. I saw it earlier. They were ALL incredibly influential...I just don't know if some of those are in the top 10 of all time. No harm, my friend. Just throwing my 2 cents in. 😉

You shouldn't encourage him Whirley.

It's not a fact that The Beatles are more influential than Faith No More, that is fact. It's your opinion they are, just like it's my opinion they are not. Lots of people believing something doesn't make it a fact, buddy. You need to learn that. A concept being generally accepted doesn't make it any more true.

You seem to believe that The Beatles, factually, are more influential. Not true, not fact, not a leg to stand on do you have.

AC, YES! YES! I agree with what you just said. That's not my point. Ugh! You're your own worst enemy at times. Chill, my man.

Getting the last word in any argument doesn't make you a victor of the debate. Cripes, dude.

I'm not trying to win, I'm trying to get some clarity on what you mean. You don't explain yourself properly.

-AC

Well I'm sorry...not as grammatically inclined as you are I suppose.

Honestly, I don't even like everyone's music on that list. Its an unbiased opinion of who I think is the most influential, whether I bump their songs or not.

Your mouth says no, but your lips say yes!

Oh look, how unexpected.
