The Senate

GMG's small shuttle came out of hyperdrive but not where GMG had planned. "What the?" he shouted rubbing his eyes and slancing at the bleeping control panels. "Ever since my regeneration," he mumbled as he tapped a few buttons on the secondary command panel, there was no signs of any interference with the ships drivers. "I must have over-jumped" said GMG as he flicked a secondary locator switch. The ship droaned in protest, "Damn automation " shouted GMG as he hit another button, nothing happened. "Damn!" shouted GMG, he streached out his hand and twisted a small black button. There was a load beeping as the ship let out an encoaded Imperial signal. "I just hope a Star Destroyer with the ability to pick up this code is near by.

A young Tamarean woman stood in the floating box, encircliung the speaker's position; every now and then her life-like form -hologram technology more advanced- would flicker due to the long range static as she was transmitting from quite a distance away.

"...yes! I understand, but now it is you who must recognise the fact that the one you speak of has no place as an ambassador or even to make such decietful claims... Needless to say, the man in question is now incarceated and being dicsiplined according to the rites of treason!" her words caused quite a stir among the dignitaries present, they seemed almost dissapointed that her people were not intent on warring with the Republic.

"Still, you hide behind your hologramatic transmission, clearly you do not wish to be present among us!" called a disgruntled Twi'Lek Elder from Ryloth, speaking in his native tongue.

"You will forgive me, sir..." the Jedi speaker, a different one this time spoke up respectfully, "...as you are aware only basic is to be used for communication in the senate..." he absent-mindedly straghtened a stack of holodisk pads as he spoke, "...Though I must agree with Elder Jinkarli; it distresses us that you come forth though not in person... Call myself presumtuous but one of your own declared war upon us and the fact that you are not here makes us wonder whether or not this is a ploy to distract us while you make preparations!"

His outrageous statement sent a wave of fresh debate throughout the grand hall, recieving both positive and harsh negative responses.

"I assure you, sir, this is no ploy as you so boldly placed your words; I am unable to attend as I'm currently aboard my ship in the outer zankranii regions, far beyond your known space and just so happen to be engaged in full conflict with our enemies! We would never be so foolish as to create enemies upon opposing flanks of our system, even you shold be able to see the logic in that!"

"Very well, a vote shall be called upon the decision of whether or not to take literally the threats stated by the so-called traitor or if their Republic has no intentions of war!" the speaker announced, his words considerably more powerful than the elderly Jedi speaker who had been traded for this man for the new annum, as was the new senate policy.

(I seriously call for a vote so I'm not entirely controlling the decision; to remove my nation from the Republic's long list of allies or to take to heart the threats of Keriier's brother, meaning that I will consider the Republic as my enemy, though as I've explained the situation my nation would be unable to launch any form of full-scale assault -like the crock-pot of $#!t before 😮- as we're defending our 'opposing flank'😉

GMG sat in his cock-pit and gazed at his chrono,
"Two days!" he said waking from a deep stint of meditation "Two days and no sign of rescue," he fliped a small switch which caused the nava-computer to blink on. "I must have woken for a reason..." just as he said this the proximity sensors burst out with alarm, then just of the port bow a Bladian Indictor came out of hyperspace barely two kilometers from GMG's ship.
A small annoncement came over the com system.
"Grand Moff, prepare to be taken on board"

GMG smiled as his little craft was pulled into the command sector's docking bay.

Silence was once again heavy upon Ath's lips as she observed the goings on in the Senate. What to do, what to do. She was beginning to second guess herself in her decision to get involved in these affairs, apprehensive of the possibility that her chosen side would not willingly accept her assistance should conflict of some sort arise, though it would be foolish of them to do so. Ah, well. She'd have to decide soon enough. She'd have to vote on this matter, but she'd likely wait to do so.

ooc: Damnit. Anything vaguely human isn't my thing, obviously. It's a far cry from what I'm used to. Not to mention I'm cut short on time.

Corsita came out of hyperspace only a few kilometers from Couriscant's atmosphere. "Beeep beep beeeeep beep beep beep", was the sound that came from the wing of Corsita's Delta-7 Aethersprite. "Yes yes! I know I'm closer than I should be R2! You need'nt tell me this! I just need to make a landing, I dont care if its a safe one!" R2 beeped gloomily in response. Corsita hadnt taken any action in the political affairs thus far, but things were getting out of hand. His fighter descended through the bumpy atmosphere, uncomfortable, but safe nontheless. He made a heavy landing, and jumped out of his fighter, R2 being lowered from the wing. It had been damaged in a pursuit, the ship not the droid, and R2 began repairing it. He told the droid to stay their, an idiot thing to do, but he did it still. He swept off, robes following in his wake.

(One last thing I need to know... Where is everyone? ^.^;; )

When GMG's small shuttle was safely locked in a docking bay and bounced out glad to be free. He was greeted by a young Captain and a small group of Bladian Troopers trying to appear as if they often performed such military addresses.

GMG walked to the Captain and cliked his heels.
"I must thank you Captain, I was about to die of boerdom."

"No thanks needed Sir!" Replied the Captain " The Emperor has orderd that we recognise your Imperial Consortium as if it where of our own military, we were doing our duty." GMG grimiced he had not been in touch with the Consortium since Tiberius had claimed the title of Supreme Moff,
"Would it be possible for me to get in contact with the Emperor? We have much to discuss."

"The Emperor is aware that you are here, we are oncourse to the capital as we speak" GMG smiled excellant.

((One question, you keep talking about Imperials yet you said this is 200 years since the New Republic founding... I'm a tad confused, are you talking about the Bladian Empire as the Imperials and emperor?))

The Imperial Consortium is all that is left of Palpatine's Old Empire, it consists of four systems with a population of around 40 billion.

After the collapse of the New Republic the "Empire" although it wasn't really one endured.

So really it is a group of people who have continued the traditions and running of the Old Empire, left mostly to their own by most of the galaxy's powers, bar the Bladian EMpire which although different supports the consortium.

Emperor Bladius stirred in his dark obsidian throne. He shifted from one sitting stance to another. He tapped his arm rests irritably, annoyed at the silence his advisor's where giving him. "Do you have an answer, counselor?" The counselor now moved with even quicker speed shuffling through a mobile library. "I...I...." he was interrupted by a small beeping noise coming from the terminal next to the emperor. He snapped his fingers and the terminal raised to his desired level.

After a while of pressing through the encoded message the Emperor smiled and dismissed the counselor. Without a second thought, the chancellor bowed low, and left the enormous room with great haste. The Emperor now turned his full attention to the terminal which, with the pressing of a few buttons, now formed a holographic projector with AOR standing in the center of it. "Why Arbiter, do what do we owe the pleasure?"

There was a brief static, and the Kimonian replied sullenly, "Emperor, it pains me that we must meet under these circumstances. As I do not doubt, you know of our predicament in regards to these new guests and there war."

"Not as well as you think. I seem to be having my issues as well, so my participation in the Senate has not been all that it used to be," the Emperor interrupted. "However, I have an intuitive feeling that your predicament may some what intertwine with my rodent annoyance." The Emperor sneered briefly as if disgust that he, of all people, would have a rodent problem.

"A rodent problem," AOR asked inquisitively?

"More on that when you arrive. I have granted you access, and so you shouldn't run into any problems. Stick to the main highways I am sending you. They are faster, and there you wont be stopped for any reason." The holographic projection of AOR bowed and disconnected itself showing once more the emblem of the Empire. The Emperor shifted once more in his chair, but not out of boredom, but rather out of excitement. It has been a long time since he had company that wasn't here for business manners.

*The Ship GMG was travelling on came out oh hyperspace in the Bladian System and an old Shuttle Tiderium exitedd the bridge command port and made it's wat down to thet planet surface.*

R2-7X continued to work on the ship while Corsita was inside, debating. After an hour or two, Corsita was sweeping out of the hall, looking furious, though he was solemn inside. R2 was raised into the wing and the Aethersprite took off, rising out of the atmosphere, and on its way to hyperspace.

*The shuttle landed on a small platform inside a dome, thunder could be heard.*

A tall women walked into the dome and up to Grand Moff Gav who had just gotten off of the docking ramp.
"Welcome your excellency," she said as she gave a small bow,. "Please, this way," GMG and the women walked along the dome and into a long curved tunnel, GMG couldn't see outside but he could still hear the thunder.
"Raining alot these days?" He asked attempting to strike up conversation, the women continued on ignoring his query. They the then walked a small sliding glass door and into a brightly lit corridor. "Where are we?" GMG asked, not familiar with this part of Bladian's Imperial Palace.
"We are in the new wing of Imperious 4, His Majesty's newest palace." The women stopped and stretched to a door panel. "Your Quarters sir," she said then turned and walked along the corridor, "Oh, the Prime Minister will see you shortly.
"Good," said GMG as he walked into his room and the door sealed behind him, it was a very sparse room, and white, "Prime Minister?" said GMG confused, something then caught his eye and he looked across the room to a large window..."My God! There isn't...."

Outside the room's window GMG could see a large raised platform city, and a large, never ending sea. Kamino...he had been kidnapped!

"Ksssh!" Static. "Kssh- Corsita? Corsita you are needed!!" Corsita flipped on his radio frequency and popped out of hyperspace. "Hello? Hello are you there?" Corsita questioned impatiently, tapping the radios side."Kssh- Corsita? Master Corsita! You are needed, I fear the Grand Moff Gav has been kidnapped! He didnt arrive here as planned, and his signal went off as he arrived on the outskirts of the Bladian Empire." Said the voice irritatedly, yet calm. Corsita knew immediately that it had to be Kamino, but it would endanger GMG if he went there ASAP. He sighed into the radio and said, "I will be arriving at Kamino shortly, but do not send back up! It could endanger him. I need to land somewhere-" He was cut off by static, and he threw the peice of junk to the floor. "Stupid peice of-" He said a few swears and returned to his state, thinking of what he could do, as he popped into hyperspace. Destination? Kamino.

Corsita popped out of hyperspace on the atmosphere of Kamino. He had told R2 to discover a descrete spot for him to land. If he couldnt find anything, he would simply put it on autopilot and let R2 take it out of here, yet quick to return if he got in trouble. It was raining as he looked for a spot, and hard. He saw small platforms, but they werent connected to the main buildings, or anything for that matter. He figured that he wouldnt be able to find anywhere to land, so he hovered about two meters above the platform leading into the building. He dropped out of it, landing softly. R2 flew the ship away and Corsita turned to see his new challange.

GMG paced in his room waiting for his "hosts" to meet him. He had been there for three days, without even being disturbed.

The lightsaber hilt was covered, yet it could be heard clanging against his belt. He had been greeted by the woman there, though he had sensed their unease. He had been adiministred to the head of council there, and took kindly to a warm drink and clothes. He sat queitly infront of the rather large desk, and awaited the first words to be spoken.

The Prime Minister sat on the other side of the desk flanked by two aides.

"Welcome Jedi Master Corsita, it has indeed been some time since a person of your status visited us, ofcourse the Jedi Order has diminished since our last dealings," The PM picked up a large datapad, "might I ask why you are here?" He looked at the datapad.
