I hated Brosnan and Moore, I think Craig might make Bond tough again. He was a "boot boy for the country" in the Fleming novels not a wimp. Connery and Dalton at least brought some machismo to the role.

That's why I think Dalton was the best Bond. He was extremely gritty with things compared to the others. He smoked, he didn't care about anyone really, he was a badass. You could believe that he was Bond. Moore was like, as someone said, way too silly for it. Brosnan I thought was great, but I wish they would've given him more of the good moments that he had, like in TWINE when he is about to just execute Renard. That was a good moment, but there weren't enough of those.

Craig's just....ugh...

I dont like the choice of Craig but like you,I hated Brosnan as well,He always seemed like when he was acting he was just doing a job and he didnt want to really be there,he was just there because he had to be.However I loved Moore.Him and Connery were the two best IMO.I wish they had stopped making them after Moore retired.I dont like craig but I'll take ANYBODY over Brosnan anyday of the year.Im just so happy that Brosnan is FINALLY gone.

Everyone needs to shut up with the critisism. nobody had even seen a fricking trailer yet. you can't judge Craig until you see his performance.

I would also like to point out that he CAN drive a manual car!

I just saw The Davinci code for the first time yesterday and before the movie started,they showed a trailer for the new Bond movie and I got to say I take everything back about Brosnan being the worst Bond ever.While I am happy to see that Brosnan finally gone I dont like his replacement at all either.While Brosnan did a horrible job in his acting as Bond,he at least looked the part.Man this guy is an old grey haired man.I cant believe they cast this guy for the role. 😠 I take back everything I said about Brosnan being the worst Bond ever.That honor goes to the new guy now.

I gotta agree. Daniel Craig is a good actor and I like the guy, but he just isn't 007.
