I would redo this one. It's too hard for me to read and understand. I think the JLA part should have nothing behind those letters so you can clearly see the three letters. The chick with the blue makes it kind of hard to see the second letters as well. Its a little hard to actually see the L. I also couldn't tell who the three guys on the right were for a minute.

Yeah I hope I didn't sound harsh or anything when I typed that. IDK much about PS, but if you could give an outline/border to the letters then that would make them easier to see. I would go with something like a gold.

I'm a big fan of Ivan Reis' art, have been for years. He's finally back doing non secret origin gl stuff, so i made a few sigs and avatars:

Will probably do a Sinestro Corps one at some point. Wanted to do a Zamoran/Star Sapphire one with the new Fatality, but i can't seem to find the oath... i was sure i'd seen one, but meh...

its actually a black rectangle placed over the image, converted to smart object, then made 50% transparent, with an inside stroke of 3px at 30%
the text is the uppermost layer, then the black rectangle, then the images...
if you mean the actual images, well, it was the pictures i used more than anything... atrocitus didn't have an aura in that pic, so giving him one (i did try) would only be messy. and yes, i did use different blending techniques for each, as i wanted them to retain some feeling of uniqueness, even though they shared a similar formula...

I love the outlines....my bad..i meant the borders(that surround the pic)....it looks like you used overlay or soft/hard light to border the pics....sorry.

for hal, i duplicated the layer. i used a larger green outer glow around the outline of the lower one. for the one above it, i did a small stroke of the yellowy colour, and a small outer glow of the same colour to soften it. i did an ever so slight inner glow in the same yellow colour. all those glows were normal, but over the ring i used the overlay or screen, i think, with both inner and outer glows...
atrocitus just needed the background removed, i didn't really have to do much bar removing the speech bubbles and rounding off any edges that had been obscured...
the blue lanterns were just standard inner and outer glows...
