Which reminds me that I am currently reading (besides other books) another german novel called "Der Mann ohne Eigenschaften" (The Man without Qualities) by Robert Musil, which has around 1700 pages. That is quite annoying cause I am aware I won't finish it in the next, approximately, three billion years.

Though I will be reading "Gai-jin" soon and I think there is way more pages in that one.

erm...the longest book I ever read...Maybe Lord of the Rings. Possibly the dictionary, though I don't think thank really counts since it was only the A, M, and Z section. It's not Harry Potter that's for sure. I'll go with Lord of the Rings.
