Obscene Behavior

Okay..an interesting topic came about in another thread..about whether or not there are different levels of obscene behavior. I thought it would be interesting to get everyone's thoughts on this. Would you consider yourself to be on the more "relative" side of this argument, believing that all types of obscene behaviors should be treated the same, or do you believe that there are indeed degrees to the type of obscene offenses one commits.

Two people kissing in the street doesn't bother me. But when they go so far as to look like they are having sex...no. That's obscene, pisses me off that it's allowed, people can virtually **** in the street, but if two gay men hold hands they get vilified. Actually holding hands could actually be deemed more of a cultural thing. Many men from other countries, like Saudi Arabai..and certain African countries hold hands while walking on the street, and it isn't thought to be homosexual. Same goes with kissing on the cheeks and what not. The US is a real perverted culture. Just about any type of touching one does, is automatically considered sexual.

You can't seriously say that all obscene behavior is black and white? Everyone has different and varying opinions of what is and is not obscene. Some women like to get shit on by their boyfriends. I find that obscene, but who am I to tell two consenting adults what they can and can not do in their bedroom? I find it obscene, but it's none of my buisness.

Anything two males do sexually in public is obscene and they should be arrested, if they want to kiss eachother like it is a natural thing to do, they should do it behind closed doors.
