I'm pretty sure drinking blood would have the same effect as drinking urine/sea water in that the influx of salts would only serve to dehydrate you further.

So you guys care to share where you are getting your info from ?

Honestly, I'd rather try to find a way out, and I'd ask the potential "meal" to help out...

Let's say I start hallucinating and I do kill the person (or he/she dies first 😄).. and then what?
I start eating like a barbarian, though i'm probably not able to digest such shit, and after a minute or so I'd get sick and throw it all up.
And I'd be stuck with a decomposing corpse 😘

I'm saying this because of my current state...

I'd rather starve and die.

If I ever was in a situation in which cannabalism is a must...I would struggle with myself and just let death take me away. I couldn't phantom the image of eating another human being. Much less drink their blood.

My body would reject it anyway. If I would eat some dead person( I would never) then I would throw up from the taste. I might throw up with some normal food much less a dead corpse.

I could understand cannibalism if it's a culture thingy or a moment of despair...but I just wouldn't....but I will admit this topic is making me hungry. 😛
