Well, first episode wasn't too bad.

More of the same, if you ask me: planet is divided, TF and Republic come in to take planet, battle.... etc etc.

Weird stuff: what's with the tube ways? Can't the On Calamari find their way through the water in their own town?????

And: I think Anakin is moving way to fast underwater... Water does cause quite a lot of friction.

Ugh. Just watched the first episode of season 4. There they go again with changing the rules of the Star Wars universe. Since when do lightsabers work underwater? In Episode 1, Obi-Wan can't use his lightsaber right after they land on Naboo because it sizzled out after he fell in water. Sources: Deleted scenes and book of Episode 1, as well as many other EU books.

Yeah, I was thinking that too... but CW has its own rules, I'm getting used to it.

Lightsabers can be modified to work under water.

Ask Tartakovsky

It's out of control.

The shameful thing here is that they are just recycling the Genndy series with these first 3 episodes... 60 minutes of TCW vs 3 minutes of CW and CW still wins in my opinion.

Oh well, I liked it!

Eh, I preffered it. That was my least favoirte episode of the Gendy series. Also I liked the Shark dude quite a bit. To bad the final episode turned him into another cliche Bond villian. But the way he went out was awesome, nice reffrence to Jaws.

What species is that shark guy?

That's one thing I really don't like about the series, they shoehorned this character in for plot even though he has never existed before and they make him out to be a huge part of the Separatist fight.

Appearantly, he's a Karkarodon.

The character was flat, as is totally expected, but I really liked the design. It fits in well with the OT/Cantina scene type aliens. It could distinctly be a man in a costume with some sort of elaborate mask.

Agreed. They could have emulated more things like the RAS ships landing in the water and that would have benefited. Their new additions like the giant fake jellyfish just seemed to sit aroud and not be scary. There seems to be no coordination from episode to episode.

It felt like watching Shark Tale.

Meh, they sure know how to under power Anakin.

Every jedi is under-powered in this show.

I much prefer the idea that the Jedi are simply badass, but are simply overwhelmed by billions of stupid but deadly droids.

This of course makes more sense than 5 stupid droids killing a jedi

The Jedi are more in-line with what we know of them from the OT. They were never shown as these over-powered beings until the books started getting out of control.

Agreed. And I am thankful for it.

Indeed, I like that we're not getting ridiculous displays of power in the Clone Wars.

ERrrm yeah... but this is Anakin.

I think its ridiculous to equate a Jedi to a droid. Whats the point of being a jedi if they're totally ineffective?
