I'm not offended, I just don't want people who don't understand us to look down on us. I've tried quitting a few times, and I'm not even a heavy smoker.

It is sad, but again I cant stress enough how hard it is to give up, In my personal opinion,I think they may be more addictive than heroin

Well to be honest, I think there should be rehabilitation centres for addicted smokers, but one reason there's not is because smoking is legal.
