Name (or try to) your 10 most anticipated films

The only one I'm really anticipating is V for Vendetta, I saw the trailer in theaters last night, and it blew me away.... Best part of my movie-going experience that night.

Looking forward to Superman Returns.

Apart from that, X-Men III looks kinda cool.

I'd prefer a sequel to Batman Begins or Spiderman, but they'll be next year or something. Superman will do for now.

My list:

The Fountain - looks fantastic, despite the leads...

Nacho Libre - Jack Black going loco sounds great to me.

Superman Returns - I love the bit in the trailer when he flies up to the clouds.

The Fantastic Mr. Fox - Wes Anderson doing animation? Could be weird...

Hail Caesar - a return to form by the Coen brothers? I hope.

The Prestige - Christopher Nolan, magicians, Christian Bale, David Bowie. Cool.

The Mirror - a slap-stick Being John Malkovich?

The H-Man Cometh - I like David O. Russel's movies. Vince Vaughan is funny.

Babel - Amores Perros and 21 Grams were amazing, this looks good too.

Inglorious Bastards - Tarantino has never made a bad movie.

Where The Wild Things Are - a long way away, but I think it's going to be amazing.
All those movies look like they will be excellent, but who really knows? However, Spike Jonze directing 'Where The Wild Things Are' is an amazing choice, so too is getting Dave Eggers to write the screenplay. I live in hope.

Oh, and Silent Hill also looks brilliant.

Finally a video game-to-movie conversion worth keeping an eye on.

Zodiac
Sympathy For Lady Vengence

I hope Zodiac notes a return to form by Fincher after the mundane Panic Room. I thought that movie was shit.

Oldboy is amazing, and Sympathy For Lady Vengence looks to be in the same vein. Chen-wook Park certainly likes his revenge stories...

I didn't mind Panic Room, definately his weakest effort, but not without merrit. Had some good cinematography and action scenes. Zodiac sounds more his style.

Apparantly Lady Vengence is Park's last revenge theme movie. Curious as to what he'll do next, seeing as his 3 biggest films have all had a revenge theme.

I really wanted to see it, too.

So be warned. 🥷

Didn't miss anything, just another Lynch rip-off, IMO.
