Is Alpha Flight dead or ICU ?

Some people sat they are dead some say they got their ass handed to them? I haven't picked up Avengers, so do tell or is it to early to count them out.

They look pretty dead to me.

But Joe said something is in the works for them. So maybe some survived and will be join by other ex members.

Or maybe this will be NEW Alpha flight and feature guys who aren't even Canadian.

Heh, I guess you could call the new team beta flight 🙂

Beta Flight exists already. It's a bit like the West Coast Avengers and the East Coast Avengers (back in the day).

Beta Flight was the training team to become a member of Alpha Flight. Also from the interviews it looks like they are not dead and big things are coming to them.

Also as I said before that isn't even the real Alpha Flight, the real one is in space.

How did the fake Alpha Flight die!?!

New villian that has all the powers of all the mutants that lost their powers during the House of M.

They were beaten off panel, so we never saw the fight.

called..................... The Collective

Not dead.

They did look pretty badass in the page before they get owned though.

Indeed. I'm glad the dialogue can't be read in my sig though. That was terrible.

Maybe they ain't dead, they are to popular but still Marvel has killed of popular characters in the past.

Yeah there was actually a HUGE uproar after thier deaths, I don't know how big though.

Also I believe Kid Vulcan is a Collective since I think he got the powers of his former teammates.

Y'know how I wasn't sure whether they'd count v3 as canon or simply ignore it for the rest of time? Well Puck II was there in the recent lineup, so that means it must be canon. Eh?

Yeah it seems so, even Major Mapleleaf was there.....errr...eh? 😄

I don't see Alpha Fight being killed of that easily so I have a feeling they may still be alive.

NRAMA: Alright, alright…in addition to Ares, we also hear you got something you want to talk about in terms of Alpha Flight. First off, to bring people up to speed, this was their most recent appearance:

Anything you’d like to say Joe?

JQ- They look cold?

NRAMA: Anything serious you’d like to say?

JQ - Well as you know, Alpha Flight had a little bit of trouble in the most recent issue of New Avengers. Heck, I hear that the entire nation of Canada has declared war on Brian Bendis. Anyway, Just so Alpha flight folk don’t spend the entire weekend bummed out, don’t worry too much because there are big plans in the works for our Canadian super team. I think when it all comes to fruition; all our Marvel faithful north of the border are going to be thrilled.

Looks like they are going to be getting their own series again 🙂

But is this before or after there supposed death?

Good news to hear, I want to see a few of their characters to be explored a bit more.

Sasquatch and Shaman. That's who i want to see.
