"Strengths? So you're one of these "freaks" you warned me about?" he looked at her, halfway between understanding and pity......"You dont have to be alone, you're safe here."

"You're the first person I've ever really talked to since I was 5 years old." she explained, taking a bite out of an apple to try and disguise her sadness.

John felt his heart go out to her..."Well you can find yourself a home here. The people here are good, honest people, and this house is too big for just me. YOu can stay as my guest for as long as you want.............." he moved towards her, "But first I think you should get a shower and go to bed....Ill try to find some clothes to fit you."

She looked down at her clothes, she had the outfit custom made to fit her slender figure. She didn't think there were any other clothes small enough to fit her, but still she nodded and walked towards the staircase towards the bathroom.

Johncollected her clothes from outside the bathroom door as he heard the shower running, and went searching for some clothes. He found a black t-shirt that looked about two sizes too big for her, some grey trousers and a fairly new pair of runners, he left them in the bedroom attatched to the bathroom and left...

"So. How do I look?" she asked, walking into the living room in the clothes he had laid out for her. The shirt was indeed too big for her, as well as the trousers, she blushed in embarrassment at how ridiculous she must look. Her hair was down completely now, not wavy as it was when dry and it reached a good ways down half her back. "You wouldn't happen to have a brush I could borrow?"

"You look good", he said, standing up, he looked at her hair, it seemed a little unkept, "I dont have a brush, but if you'd like, there's a hair salon not too far from here, you could have something done with it there?"

She snorted with interest. "You don't have a hair brush? What do you comb your hair with then, a dried fish skeleton?" She plopped down onto the couch comfortably.

Zen: *he walked through alleys looking at big fancy houses, knowing he would never afford one, he hung his head, and continued walking, he finally gave up and leaned on the outside of one of the houses, he heard voices from inside, but he ignored it and sat down.* "...*sigh*...Where am I going to get a job? who would let me have a job? probly no one." *he spoke to himself as he started to listen to what the people said inside the house.*

John frowned, "I dont comb my hair, this is how it is naturally......do you want to get your hair done now, or sleep first. You look like you could use some rest?"

"Rest? I'm a nocturnal creature I guess you could say." she looked at him sheepishly. "I don't sleep." Standing up she walked out of the house. "I'll get my hair done now I suppose... or perhaps just buy a brush instead. I'll be back soon."

"Back?" he realised she was going alone."When I said not far, I meant, not by bike, Ill give you a lift." He walked into the garage where a few motorbikes were kept. He tossed her a helmet and climbed onto a large black one.

Catching it she looked at the flames covering it. "You really are something, aren't you?" she asked, smirking at how much they had in common. "try not to go too slow because I'm a girl, I can handle it more then you'd probably think." she took a seat behind him, holding him from behind. They were about to leave when she noticed someone sitting outside. "Oh.. I wonder who that is"

"I wouldnt dream of it"he grinned, then, noticing the guy outside his house, he frowned............"Anything I can do to help you?" he called loudly?"Only thats my house you appear to be leaning on?"

Zen: *he turned to look at the person looking at him. he just sighed.* "....*sigh*......" *he continued to sit there, like no one noticed him.* "A job."

Marie hit him none too gently on the shoulder. "He needs a job."

"Well Im afraid this isnt the place to look for emplyoment....is there any reason in particular you're at my house?"

Blinking in wonder, she waited for a response but in the mean time taking in his appearance.

John revved up the bike and sped into town, darting around traffic on the way.

"Woah hey! Warn me next time okay?" she called to him, barely just grabbing him before falling off.
She went inside and baught a brush for her and for him to use, she was about to get back on the bike when a sudden gut feeling made her stop.
