Google in court for copying porno
Published: Wednesday 22 February 2006
A federal judge has ruled that portions of Google's popular image search feature, which displays small thumbnail versions of images found on other websites, are likely to violate US copyright law.
US District Judge A Howard Matz ruled on Friday that Perfect 10, an adult-oriented website featuring "beautiful natural women" in the nude, has shown that Google image search probably infringes copyright law "by creating and displaying thumbnail copies of its photographs".

You know, I've tried to look up porn with google image, and it almost always tells me that it didn't find anything that matches my search criteria. I've even turned off all the filters and safety features. That being said, the few times it has worked, all you see is the picture, and often times the website says it can not be viewed, and then when you click on the picture, the picture won't load.
Besides, you'd think that these websites would view it as free advertising.
