As for your question,Crusher, then I guess 'her' name would be Annie or Anne instead of Anakin.If he was a girl then 'she' would probably not be married to Padme, so my guess is Obi-Wan.

But Obi-Wan was loyal to the Jedi Order. I don't really think that anything would happen really. I think she would be friends with Palpatine until she learned the truth. The Jedi Order would have survived longer.
