He sucked and for a martial artist had no agility. Man what a lame ass character kinda like Omega Red in the game

High level MVC2 it boils down to Storm/Sentinel/Cable
and a few variables, or atleast 2 of the 3 with a mid-high tier char

Cable is only top tier due to assist characters. If its just him youre playng, hes obsolete as well. Thats the reason he gets picked so much. Its due to his assist projectile and ability to keep shooting.

Id agree with Storm and Sentinel though. Mags, Ironman and a few others from Marvel are really good without the help of assist characters. Cable isnt one of them lol.

I love Colossus on the assist tip.

MAG is who i forgot, mags/cable/storm/sentinel
But no, cable is really good, out here we have some of the best players in the world in mvc2 (washington state)

Cable is ok. I conseder a top tier character someone who has a good amount of combos(air included) and can do a good amound of damage ON THEIR OWN. Cable is not that. Unless hes getting assists from other characters, hes really not top tier. Ive stated why hes picked so often and it aint because hes a top tier character. Its because of his projectile shots and his ability to do 3 specials in a row. Thats it. If hes the only character left, hes not that good on his own. Hes just mid level/basic like a Silver Samurai or Spiral. Theres plenty of Marvel characters who have more combos than him and do more damage. Hes just a high level character when hes getting assists.

It's amazing how much second page posts differ from the actual thread description

It would be a simple fight. Batman throws a batarang and SS disappears. Batman spins around, and his head slides off his shoulders before he can even register that SS is in front of him.
