Human Animals cannot.
However show them a famine or a drought and they are fecked, in the west where to have such wonderful inventions as factory farming I can still go down to ASDA and buy my Veal!

Special? As special as any other human? Then I agree. ....nah, sure we are different and that makes everyone "special" but not in a superior sense....well, I mean I guess some people are superior than others, but ...hmm....you get the point.....although, I don't.

No. You don't see monkeys building sky scrapers do you? Or dolphins building cruise ships. Or going into space?(yes animals have 'gone' into space but what other group of 'animals' put them there? Humans.
We may be under the same characteristics as animals and can be classified as them etc. but to think that we are 'just animals' and not superior in any way is patently absurd.

But once agian, by that logic, humans can't fly by their own power. We are significantly weaker than most other animals, proportionately weaker than almost all other animals. In many ways humans are inferior to other animals, why not point out those differences to set us apart?
Intelligence is a characteristic of our species. It does not make us superior.
I've said this many times. People say "Back in the day we still hunted and survived, even without the technology and intelligence." Which is fair enough, but some attributes have replaces others.
You put a human in a cage with a bear and chances are that it's not coming out alive, or coming out at all. We're only superior because we know how to use our environment and it's contents to make our weapons, shelter etc. A lot of animals don't need. Eg: Polar Bears. They don't need coats and all they need to do is hunt. In THAT environment, where it's all even, humans die all the time.

how are we superior to animals because we use up every resource on the planet for nothing more than our own selfish and superficial material gain? the earths population exists only to work, breed, survive, kill, and consume. every 'great' accomplishment of mankind falls into one of these self-serving categories.
i fail to see how superiority can be measured by how an animal serves its own needs.

Nice 😛
I'm sure building a dam made of sticks is WAYYYYY greater than something like the Hoover Dam, Empire State Building, etc.
KharmaDog>...........yes but the fact that we have the intelligence to make weapons to defend ourselves from these animals and defeat them has to count for something.
And it's not just intelligence.. what about creativity, love etc.
