Skurge possessed the superhuman abilities of a male Asgardian. He was a half giant and possessed considerably greater physical size than a full-blooded Asgardian. Skurge possessed great physical strength that enabled him to lift about 70 tons, whereas the average Asgardian man can only lift roughly 30 tons.
Skurge was extremely long-lived, ageing at a much slower pace than human beings, though not truly immortal. His body was highly resistant to physical damage, and was able to withstand repeated blows from Thor's enchanted hammer without sustaining injury.
