Not true, Kamikz. In Shatterpoint, the Akk Hounds of Haruun Kal have hides that can block lightsabers. Hell, at one point, a hound gets hit by a missile and its skin remains unbroken. Granted, its inside were made into mush by the concussive force, but whatever. If something as relatively small as a hound can block lightsaber blades, I see no reason why a building-sized, mutated rancor can't.

He did die when he was crushed by a big pillar.
He doesn't get crushed by a pillar, he gets crushed by an unmovable barrier and a magnetized rail, you could stick a death star in between that and it'd still get crushed.
Veneficus, you have to run towards the end, get towars the command center, and then wait for the rancor to come towards you (it can't climb), and then push the button to crush the rancor.
The Sand Monster is special in the sense it can take anyone, no matter the size of the NPC. The Mutated Rancor has also been able to scoop up the sand monster and eat it 😉.

Oh didn't know that, haven't read much of Shatterpoint yet. Well that Rancor is still killable in the game with a lightsaber, it just takes a damn long time.
And for the level when you run from it, this is how you do it. First you run away from it, jump up to a high level and press the controls so a big thing gets lifted up from the ground. Then you run into that hallway and through to the other side. The rancor will come right after.
Continue to run until you see a huge hallway with 2 reborn in it, I think. I don't remember exactly but I think you have to kill them to get access to the door, or you need the rancor to dodge one of the attacks of the rancor to make him destroy the whole thing. Then use force speed to run down the hallway so you get ahead of the rancor. Now I don't remember anymore, lol.

No mods required. It's a built in cheat. You can punch, kick, and do 2 or 3 bullet time holds and throws.
Personally, I modded my game so those punches, kicks, and holds do instakill damage, and then went around with god mode on and beat the entire game that way.
The thing I love most about the game is just to spawn alot of characters and let them fight eachother. I've bought the game over internet, gonna get it tomorrow. I've already downloaded mods that makes you able to spawn Sidious, Dooku, Obi-Wan, Anakin, Maul and a killable Boba Fett (you can be all the characters too). Can't wait.
