Hawkman vs. Abomination

Many people disrespect Hawkman. So let's say these two battle it out on a giant cruise ship. No weapons for Hawkman

Ugh, then Hawkman dies. But its cool since he'll be ressurected again. With no weapons there isn't really anything he can do to Abomination. I see this kinda like the Hawkman/Despero fight in JLA where Despero ripped off his wings.

Now give him some weapons and maybe u'll have a fight

Don't understimate Wonderman. He is one of the most powerful characters in Marvel. One time he beat both Thor and Ironman. Hawkman isn't nearly as strong and while he does have a healing factor it won't be enough to help him here. He doesn't have any means to hurt Abomination either

Hey don't knock Hawkman, he's a bad-ass. Some super-strength, a healing factor, proficient in the use of various weapons with an amazing tactical mind. He rocks. He can't beat Abomination cause he lacks the resources in this fight, but he still rocks.

hawkman would win with ese for he would make him sink the boat and make a bomination drowned

No disrespect to Hawkman but with no weapons he can't really hurt Abomination as he is no where near Abominations strength or durability. If he had his mace or the Claw of Horus it might be a different story.

Hawkman w/o weapons is at a severe disadvantage. Abe wins.

Hawkman-related question: just how good are his aerial combat skills? I mean, a lot of characters can fly without wings. So what is even the point of Hawkman? It's kinda like, if Superman was faster than Flash (remember those days when a definite answer was avoided), what would've been the point of Flash? So, he was indeed made the fastest man alive.

Hawkman should be the best aerial combatant (at least pound-for-pound, so to speak), otherwise, Why a Hawkman?

Hawkman is quicker than Abomination due to his wings. He outclasses the green guy in h2h combat. Doc Samson took Abomination out. And since Hawman is near the Class 70 range. He has a chance to defeat Abomination

Hawkman is in the class 70 range? I didn't know that. And Hawkman is one of the best aerial combatants in the DCU plus arguable one of their premiere weapons specialist, though his speciality lies in archaic weaponry many of which have roots in magic.

Hawkman's flight and strength are artificial, take away the Nth metal boots and wing harness and he's much weaker. One punch from Abomination and Carter is hurting as where Abomination could take numerous hits from Carter and still keep fighting.

Hawkman isn't on class 70 range....nowhere near that even. And he certainly doesn't have a chance here unless he has the claw of horus.
